Since updating to Lollipop. my Exchange contacts are not syncing in my phone's stored contacts or with any apps outside of the stock email app. I have the "Sync contacts" box checked in the email app settings.

As the title says, I have a Droid Turbo that will not send emails with a few photos coming to about 15 MB. Same thing happens with our Razr M and Droid Minis, but my iPhone 6 doesn't seem to have an issue. Thought I could do something similar as the iPhone and choose what size I want the photos to be when I send (to at least make the email smaller), but I can't seem to find anything like that either. We are running Exchange 2010 and do not have any email size requirements set for incoming/outgoing mail or for the ActiveSync policy. They just sit in the Outbox until I delete them.

It started doing this a couple of weeks ago. It will display 2-3 addresses that I must have used a few weeks ago as "suggested addresses" but won't pull up any others.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I delete emails from my pc on my old earthlink account (yes, I still use an earthlink account, got too much stuff linked to it still) it doesn't remove them from my Turbo email folder. Not sure if I'm missing a setting or what but my old Droid DNA synced just fine. I'm using the default email app on the phone. I'm tired of seeing a ton of emails on my phone but only having 10 in my inbox via my pc.

The calendar synced, but I have lost my categories, etc. The contacts synched, but I seem to have three of everything (???). Is there a way to delete all the contacts on the phone and start over? I find it hard to believe someone has not come up with an App to make a direct USB sync with the PC, given the Extensive use of Outlook...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just got myself a new Atrix on Orange UK and when setting up the email/calendar/contacts via the corporate sync app I found that contact were not making it through.
I administer the mail server so I watched the logs and the server does try to push the contacts, but they never appear on the Atrix.
I then googled a bit and came across this forum, and I came across a thread over in the Droid area back in aug 2010 that they had exactly the same issue. There were rather weak work arounds, including buying Touchdown, but that then doesn't play nicely with the motoblur widgets.
When I had Froyo Microsoft Exchange syncing was spotty at best. Sometimes the emails would be instant sometime it would take 10-20 minutes for them to sync and it didn't seem to matter whether data push was enabled or not. On my old DX1 GB seemed to fix this issue but now on the DX2 with GB I haven't noticed any improvemnt. Does anyone else run exchange though DX2 and what is your experience, im running SBS 2003 and all other phones on our system ie. windows phones, blackberry and some other phones all seem to work great usually the e-mail shows up in the phone about 30 seconds before the outlook inbox.

I also have a Google Apps account for which I only sync Google Drive, so that I have access to my Google Drive at work. However, everyone in my exchange Active Directory has a duplicate account in Google Apps.
In my google apps account settings, I have contacts and Gmail set to never sync. Sync is off. However, whenever I am typing an address in my email app for exchange, all of me Google Apps Active Directory email addresses also come up, which is problematic because they are all duplicates of the exchange email addresses, since the directories are linked.
I got an early release on the Fitbit Surge. Its awesome so far except my smartphone, a Motorola Droid Turbo, will not currently sync notifications for text and phone calls. I've emailed them asking about the problem. They say it is because "the Fitbit app is not currently supported by the Motorola Droid Turbo." The smart phone compatible list on their website does not show my phone, however the app works just fine and even syncs everything else the surge has to offer. Fitbit says they are working closely with smart phone manufactures to work out the Bluetooth 4.0 problems. The only instance that the I have any trouble is when I check the text and call notifications box in the Fitbit app for my surge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI assigned pics to a bunch of my contacts and was pleased to see they synced over to my Exchange account. All of my Android phones I've had since then (G1, Droid, G2, Sidekick 4) pulled those pictures down from Exchange once I set up my contact sync and showed them in Contacts, when I'd get an incoming call from that person, in the text messaging app, etc.
But, the Droid3 doesn't. I'm guessing this is because it looks like it uses a custom app for Exchange, but still, I'd like to see it fixed/added. FWIW, contact pics from my Google+ contacts do show up.
I'm having trouble syncing all of my contacts from my Samsung Galaxy S5 to my new 2015 Chevy Malibu. When I pair the devices it will ask me on my phone if the car has permission to access my contacts and I'll say yes. When I go into the phonebook on the car or try to voice dial by a name it only pulls 10ish contacts from my phone. I've tried re-pairing, turning off wifi and re-pairing, making sure 4g is on and re-pairing to no avail. Again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy company recently upgraded to Outlook 2010, which apparently automatically saves email address to an address book in Outlook called Suggested Contacts. This group automatically populates with contacts that you communicate or have communicated with, but are not in your contact list. Because the phones are all set up to sync with Exchange, this contact list is automatically synced to the phones by default.
The problem I'm having is, I changed the default so Outlook would no longer automatically populate this and gotten rid of this address book in Outlook, but now I can't get the contacts off the phone. I have tried unchecking the box that says sync contacts, but nothing happens. The contacts remain in the phone. I am posative the contacts are linked to the Exchange account and not to Google or some other account.
How do I delete the "no name" contacts all at once. I have hundreds. I don't want to do it individually.

So, when I purchased my Droid 2 last year, there was no problem importing them into the phone with the exchange server. But, when the number increased above 1500, I noticed that the phone only accommodates 1487. note that I don't import contacts from other sources like Google or a social networking site.

My husband's Droid Turbo: For some reason, he is forced to enter a year and that messes with the Birthdays Calendar on his google account. Birthdays entered on his contacts do not display ever year on his calendar.

When I try to block contacts on my Motorola droid turbo I cannot find anything of the sort. On previous android phones the ability has been in settings with easy to find access. But now I am unable to prevent calls and texts from reaching me.

My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

I have figured out how to get all of the apps I want to notify me when I have something new however I cannot get email (I'm using Gmail as my email) to notify me when I have a new email what am i doing wrong it's checked off i even checked it under moto it's one of the ones checked off as well what am I doing wrong???....
