Since updating my phone SMS text or the email sender no longer shows up in my status bar. I just get the notification icon. I initially thought it was a problem with Chomp SMS, but then I discovered Gmail is not showing the brief text notification either, just the icon. Any setting somewhere to change that?

I've like to try Android Pay. So I set everything up and turned on NFC in Advanced settings, as well as the Android Pay setting. However, I don't see the NFC icon. Did the is icon go away with the Lollipop update? What am I missing. I tried using Android Pay at the grocery store today and it did not register with the POS terminal.

I recently had to do a factory reset for a different issue and now I don't see my Google photos in the Gallery. When I originally set up the phone they appeared automatically.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy Turbo used to "wake up" and display the time, my notifications, etc. when I passed my hand over the screen.
For some reason, starting a few days ago, the hand wave no longer has this effect - nothing happens.
To see the time or notifications I have to hit the power button. Not a big deal, but inconvenient.
While I am able to send and receive text messages at the moment, recently, I found where 6 text messages never got sent. I deleted them. However, I still show a text message icon with a red circle/slash through it indicatint the messages never got sent. Since they were deleted, how can I get rid of the failed messages icon in the status bar? I clear the bar, but the icon eventually returns. Don't know why it happened or how; but thought deleting the messages would delete the icon. Not even sure how I'm now ok sending and receiving messages!

View 6 Replies View RelatedOn two occasions now, I've sent a text message to a group using the Verizon message app. The first time, some contacts were in my contact list and others weren't. I entered their numbers putting a space after them. I send the message, and see the following: sent to some.
I then added all numbers to my contact list. The second time I sent a text, I just kept going back to the contact list and adding each person to the text. I sent it out, and again it says: sent to some.Why can I not send a group text?
Just received my Turbo and installed Textra. Using Voice to Txt, will only send an Audio File. This is the same with GOSMS and Stock Messaging App. Want to send sms only. Is there a setting I am missing?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI unfortunately just cracked my display. This means that the screen never lights up and the touch screen doesn't work. I can pretty much only use the voice commands to call people in my contacts and that is it.
I was hoping/wondering if there was some way to read text messages on my computer when I have my phone plugged in through USB. I can't use the web app since I hadn't signed up for Verizon Online and it requires getting a code through text message. I figure the phone has to store the messages somewhere so I should be able to access them using my computer.
I just started sending some text msg and now next to each msg sent is a blue box with Send G in it. What is this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedSince I got the Motorola Droid Turbo I have not been able to send out mass text. my last droid phone I could click on people which then opened my contact list, there was boxes next to each contact for me to check multiple people. On the Droid Turbo, when I need to send out a text with multiple people there is no way I see to get to my contacts and click on multiple people. I send out a mass text every week and need to get this quirk fixed. I have also tried a few texting apps. but when I send out the mass text a message box pops up that says "SMS is sending a large amount of... do you want to allow? I click allow, but the box will continue to pop up over and over, but does not actually send out all of the texts. I only send 20 text at a time, so I'm not sure why it is not working as far as the texting app goes. Mostly I would like to be able to use the regular texting app that comes with the phone again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got an early release on the Fitbit Surge. Its awesome so far except my smartphone, a Motorola Droid Turbo, will not currently sync notifications for text and phone calls. I've emailed them asking about the problem. They say it is because "the Fitbit app is not currently supported by the Motorola Droid Turbo." The smart phone compatible list on their website does not show my phone, however the app works just fine and even syncs everything else the surge has to offer. Fitbit says they are working closely with smart phone manufactures to work out the Bluetooth 4.0 problems. The only instance that the I have any trouble is when I check the text and call notifications box in the Fitbit app for my surge.

My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI love my Turbo but my email keeps re-downloading even after I've deleted. I just deleted 123 emails dating back to December. Then I heard email notification again and this time 149 emails were DL'ed again duplicating what I deleted plus some. With the Turbo you can't do a select all to delete so it's one at a time or check all and then hit delete. I can't keep doing this. I've checked email settings and I see nothing where I can get this to stop.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have rebooted, contacted Verizon numerous times, been routed to a Level II technician, but nothing seems to solve the only intermittent problem of getting no notification sound when I get an email. The problem started out getting no ringtone sound when I got a call. Verizon finally fixed that by enabling something on advanced calling in their network. That took numerous trips to the Verizon store. Then, two days ago, I went back to Verizon with my wife to look at the iphone6 for her. I casually mentioned the notification problem to the salesperson, who said the problem was probably due to my downloaded sounds, and that I should stick to the sounds on the phone. I promptly went home and removed the downloaded sounds, but the problem persists. Because the problem is intermittent, no one has been able to fix it.

In settings/sound & notification, the notification volume is turned all the way up, and it's also set to vibrate for calls. She receives audio notification of other messages(Facebook, pintrest). We have Verizon for our provider.

I can go to a browser based client for, say yahoo mail or comcast mail and the attachment is quickly downloaded. Why the default email app is having this problem?
