Motorola Droid Turbo :: Turn On Text Notifications While On Call?
Apr 23, 2015How to do this?

View 8 RepliesI got an early release on the Fitbit Surge. Its awesome so far except my smartphone, a Motorola Droid Turbo, will not currently sync notifications for text and phone calls. I've emailed them asking about the problem. They say it is because "the Fitbit app is not currently supported by the Motorola Droid Turbo." The smart phone compatible list on their website does not show my phone, however the app works just fine and even syncs everything else the surge has to offer. Fitbit says they are working closely with smart phone manufactures to work out the Bluetooth 4.0 problems. The only instance that the I have any trouble is when I check the text and call notifications box in the Fitbit app for my surge.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just switched to Droid Turbo a few days back. I don't get any sound notifications for any text messages (Google Hangout), whatsapp, gmail when I am talking on the phone. I have tried to change every possible Sound settings but I haven't been able to fix it.
View 6 Replies View Relatedit is not a part of "Moto Display", it is actually the screen after it where you have to press the power button.
see attached pic
how do i get rid of these "notifications"? (text messages, e-mails, etc..)
they just suddenly appeared after the 5.1 update.
Any reason why all of a sudden I am not getting notifications when I am on my home WiFi? It's weird, and I can't find a setting that would be causing this.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Turbo has, for some reason, halted all Gmail related activity. As of this morning all was well. As of the last few hours, all is NOT well.
I no longer:
hear my chosen (or ANY) notification sound upon delivery
receive the on-screen notification via Moto Display (when screen is dark)
receive the on-screen notification in my notification bar
see the unread mail count (TeslaUnread Plugin) on the Gmail app icon
receive new email messages automatically PERIOD.
The only way I can know I have a new message in my inbox is if I open the Gmail app and click to manually refresh!
My Turbo did download and apply two app updates today: Golden Glass Icon Pack HD and Motorola Camera. I find it highly unlikely, but are one of these responsible?
I still do not know this phone I inside and out.. so any areas or settings to check (and how to check them) that you believe may be causing my Gmail Meltdown!!
I have not been receiving any notifications from Instagram. If I reinstall the app it will work briefly, but then I stop receiving them again. Other notifications work fine.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just finished a full wipe and chose to set up everything from scratch and not from Google backup. I know how to set up sounds for within each messaging app. But I can't find where to change it for Gmail app emails.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I set my phone to either vibrate or be silent, when I get a text or whats app or some other sort of notification, it rings instead of vibrate. I like the phone to be quiet in certain environments and this is killing me. I have had droid razors before and never had this issue.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Droid Turbo has stopped receiving push notifications from several apps including Twitter and Gmail. I was recently out of town this weekend and ever since the 2nd day of my vacation my phone has stopped receiving push notifications.
View 12 Replies View RelatedThis may or may not be a Turbo-only issue, same qualifier for Lollipop as well. But, it is noticed, so I ask.
When I put an event on the stock Google Calendar, I specifically have my settings to say NO notifications. I look at the event when created and it has NO notifications. Yet 10 minutes before the event like clockwork, boom, notification.
I'm going to go into the desktop version of Calendar and see what I can do there, but this notification stuff is annoying.
None of my push notifications come through when I am on Wifi. This did not start until I updated the phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAny way to change the interval that the screen wakes up to show you what notifications you have? I really don't need a reminder every 10 seconds.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my RAZR Maxx running 4.1.2, I had a Recent Caller Log App that allowed me to see the recent callers, both missed and accepted.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI thought one of the last small patches Motorola did on the Turbo allowed data to be sent while on a phone call.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt will happen while I am on a phone call or an app
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't know about that I mean because my phone always constantly beeps in unusual moments during phone calls.with or without blue tooth, alsop activated or not. this search for my problems the reason why I'm here is getting very saddening
View 8 Replies View RelatedSince the Lollipop update when I answer a call its a good 3-5 seconds before the person on the other end can hear me talking. I usually end up saying Hello? 3-4 times before they can hear me. My dad has it on his Turbo as well.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSo this has happened the last 7 calls in a row. Someone calls, I answer, and then press the speaker phone button, say hello, and call ends...
I was just about to sing the praises of lollipop but this is really annoying.
I have the droid turbo 32g. If I am listening to something on headphones and someone calls, the in call volume will be wake-the-dead loud. I can try to adjust the volume either before answering the call or after answering, but it makes no difference. It is loud enough that is uncomfortable to keep the speaker against my ear. I'd say this happens about 75% of the time. I can't figure out why it occasionally works correctly.

View 6 Replies View RelatedTried searching but came up empty. Every time I go into the camera app, it turns on the flash LED's as if I turned on a flashlight app. No matter what setting, it stays on.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSince updating to lollipop the notification lights don't work to show me I have a message anymore. How to turn that back on?
View -1 Replies View RelatedI activated advanced calling. With carrier too. Have kept it off but thought would turn on and give a go. I can't even get a call to connect. It says dialing then boom, call ended. Nothing.Doesn't it default if not in lte zone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen making a phone call on the droid turbo, if you are calling a number not in your contacts, it always prompts you to "add to contacts". is there a way not have that prompt you?
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow do you change the missed call notification? I have a song set for my ringtone and when I miss a call it plays the full song and won't stop. I've had to reboot the phone to make it quit.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a droid turbo, when someone calls me i can just barely hear them..what can i do to correct this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn two occasions now, I've sent a text message to a group using the Verizon message app. The first time, some contacts were in my contact list and others weren't. I entered their numbers putting a space after them. I send the message, and see the following: sent to some.
I then added all numbers to my contact list. The second time I sent a text, I just kept going back to the contact list and adding each person to the text. I sent it out, and again it says: sent to some. Why can I not send a group text?
