View 1 RepliesWhen I make a call, people can't hear me, or just barely if I speak very loudly. I can hear them perfectly. I have three bars or better. Did I reset some voice volume or something?

iPhone 4S, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
I took the case on and off. I can use headphones to hear. I can play music or hear on speaker, but I can't hear when calling.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure why this is and i have tried pretty much everything. people can only hear me when i have my phone on speaker phone.. i cant afford a new iphone since they are like $600 without an upgrade.

In the "people" icon that lists your contacts in the address book:
1. What do the different colored boxes with the initial on it represent?
2. Can you turn off this colored box feature? i know that you can do it in gmail but how about the address "people" book?
Not present in every call, but most of them the party I call say they can hear their own voice, and I have to resolve the issue by using the speaker.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm reporting an issue related to "phone call" that seems to be common with Iphone 4, but I can not find the proper fix.First of all My mobile is an Iphone 4 out of warranty, and thus no chance to get any replacement from apple.Few weeks ago the phone just falls and then my problems during phone call starts:
During calls or right at the start of a call peolpe can not hear me. If I just tap at the rear of the phone or just push hard on the back of the phone, it comes back. But this is a pain as few seconds after people can hear me again...then tap on the phone...this back...and again and again.. I've tried all these fixes found on forum, but it does not solve the problem.

Basically I brought the phone the other the day and tried calling someone but when I ring I can hear them but they can't hear me! Not sure if its a fault with the phone or settings?
View 6 Replies View RelatedPhone clear as could be at first, now I can barely hear people when they call me...
View 1 Replies View Relatedim scared that my phone may be broke. its like when i answer a call the person on the other line cannot hear me unless i connect my headphones or put the call on speaker phone.

When I am calling people, the phone call often drops out.
By that I mean I am talking to the person I called, but intermittently they cannot hear me and I have to stop the call. I thought it was my Bluetooth in my car with the problem but it has now happened when I have made a call using the iPhone handset itself.
This has only started happening after IOS update 5.1.1 last week.

When I answer or make a call, the other caller can not hear me speaking. I can hear them just fine. All other functions of my phone work normally as far as I can.

I did a factory restore, and in the process I upgraded from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich - although I am not sure I did it correctly.
When I look at the "About Phone" section, the Android Version says: 4.0.3
The Baseband Version says: 19100XXLPQ
Build Number: IML74K.XXLPQ
(Cant remember where it used to say Gingerbread lol, but it doesnt say Ice Cream Sandwich anywhere)...
Anyway, since I did this, I can no longer hear people during a call.
I have had my iPhone 4s for less than a week and when I call people/they call me/I listen to voicemails, I can barely hear the other person - they sound very distant or muffled, no matter how much I turn up the volume.
If I have the phone on speaker or listen with headphones, I can hear them perfectly fine.

for some reason i cannot hear the people i make calls too, i had my headphones in and removed them during a call and now i cannot hear the people i call. Ive tried resetting things and turning up the volume, but i still cant hear.

On my RAZR Maxx running 4.1.2, I had a Recent Caller Log App that allowed me to see the recent callers, both missed and accepted.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI thought one of the last small patches Motorola did on the Turbo allowed data to be sent while on a phone call.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt will happen while I am on a phone call or an app
View 2 Replies View Relatedperson on the other end not being able to hear you? For me this has started after the update and doesn't happen with every call. J
View 3 Replies View RelatedCan barely hear the other end of a conversation? Even with the volume all the way up!
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the Lollipop update when I answer a call its a good 3-5 seconds before the person on the other end can hear me talking. I usually end up saying Hello? 3-4 times before they can hear me. My dad has it on his Turbo as well.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSo this has happened the last 7 calls in a row. Someone calls, I answer, and then press the speaker phone button, say hello, and call ends...
I was just about to sing the praises of lollipop but this is really annoying.
I have the droid turbo 32g. If I am listening to something on headphones and someone calls, the in call volume will be wake-the-dead loud. I can try to adjust the volume either before answering the call or after answering, but it makes no difference. It is loud enough that is uncomfortable to keep the speaker against my ear. I'd say this happens about 75% of the time. I can't figure out why it occasionally works correctly.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOK, this is one of the very few issues I've had, and it is very intermittent. Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI can barely hear the other person on the line. I know that's probably the noise cancellation is kicking in but still that sucks considering I didn't have such a problem with my 3GS which was pretty loud.
View 15 Replies View RelatedHave phone at max for volume. Can still barely hear a caller. Works great with bluetooth. How I can get the volume back up? Just started having this problem in the past month.

I activated advanced calling. With carrier too. Have kept it off but thought would turn on and give a go. I can't even get a call to connect. It says dialing then boom, call ended. Nothing.Doesn't it default if not in lte zone?
View 2 Replies View Relatedi can not receive sound notifications while on the phone for text.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen making a phone call on the droid turbo, if you are calling a number not in your contacts, it always prompts you to "add to contacts". is there a way not have that prompt you?
