View 3 RepliesI have just switched to Droid Turbo a few days back. I don't get any sound notifications for any text messages (Google Hangout), whatsapp, gmail when I am talking on the phone. I have tried to change every possible Sound settings but I haven't been able to fix it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI got an early release on the Fitbit Surge. Its awesome so far except my smartphone, a Motorola Droid Turbo, will not currently sync notifications for text and phone calls. I've emailed them asking about the problem. They say it is because "the Fitbit app is not currently supported by the Motorola Droid Turbo." The smart phone compatible list on their website does not show my phone, however the app works just fine and even syncs everything else the surge has to offer. Fitbit says they are working closely with smart phone manufactures to work out the Bluetooth 4.0 problems. The only instance that the I have any trouble is when I check the text and call notifications box in the Fitbit app for my surge.
View 4 Replies View Relatedit is not a part of "Moto Display", it is actually the screen after it where you have to press the power button.
see attached pic
how do i get rid of these "notifications"? (text messages, e-mails, etc..)
they just suddenly appeared after the 5.1 update.
Any reason why all of a sudden I am not getting notifications when I am on my home WiFi? It's weird, and I can't find a setting that would be causing this.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAble to get their turbo to read texts while driving. I think I have it set up correctly. I do use handcent.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI use Moto Assist at home, so I can answer calls/texts with my voice and am notified by voice. When I get an incoming text now, I am asked if I would like to listen to the message, like always. Then it chimes like it's supposed to, indicating that it's my turn to say a command, but now, it just keeps chiming, and chiming, and it doesn't stop, never allowing me to say anything. The only way to stop it is to close the program.
When I receive an incoming call, I guess the usual, "Call from {name}, say Answer or Ignore". That works perfectly fine. But if I MISS the call, and it asks if I would like to send a text message to the caller, I run into the same issue as above.
I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the Assist updates. But I can't get it to function like it used to.
My Turbo has, for some reason, halted all Gmail related activity. As of this morning all was well. As of the last few hours, all is NOT well.
I no longer:
hear my chosen (or ANY) notification sound upon delivery
receive the on-screen notification via Moto Display (when screen is dark)
receive the on-screen notification in my notification bar
see the unread mail count (TeslaUnread Plugin) on the Gmail app icon
receive new email messages automatically PERIOD.
The only way I can know I have a new message in my inbox is if I open the Gmail app and click to manually refresh!
My Turbo did download and apply two app updates today: Golden Glass Icon Pack HD and Motorola Camera. I find it highly unlikely, but are one of these responsible?
I still do not know this phone I inside and out.. so any areas or settings to check (and how to check them) that you believe may be causing my Gmail Meltdown!!
I am not getting notifications from incoming text messages. I have to open the stock texting app, and I will immediately see the unread messages, and at that time I get the 'Droid' sound and the text icon appears in the notification bar. I am running a totally stock X2 with 2.3.3. I have no other text app installed other than the stock app, and I would rather keep it that way.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a droid turbo and want to block texts and calls from a specific person, is there a way to do that or an app that will work for sure.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have not been receiving any notifications from Instagram. If I reinstall the app it will work briefly, but then I stop receiving them again. Other notifications work fine.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just finished a full wipe and chose to set up everything from scratch and not from Google backup. I know how to set up sounds for within each messaging app. But I can't find where to change it for Gmail app emails.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I set my phone to either vibrate or be silent, when I get a text or whats app or some other sort of notification, it rings instead of vibrate. I like the phone to be quiet in certain environments and this is killing me. I have had droid razors before and never had this issue.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my phone is all of a sudden sending auto texts out to people when I don't pick up the call.
I just noticed it started yesterday. On my phone settings I don't have auto reject as an option. I have the quick responses but that is just where to edit them.
Where to turn this on and off?
My Droid Turbo has stopped receiving push notifications from several apps including Twitter and Gmail. I was recently out of town this weekend and ever since the 2nd day of my vacation my phone has stopped receiving push notifications.
View 12 Replies View RelatedThis may or may not be a Turbo-only issue, same qualifier for Lollipop as well. But, it is noticed, so I ask.
When I put an event on the stock Google Calendar, I specifically have my settings to say NO notifications. I look at the event when created and it has NO notifications. Yet 10 minutes before the event like clockwork, boom, notification.
I'm going to go into the desktop version of Calendar and see what I can do there, but this notification stuff is annoying.
None of my push notifications come through when I am on Wifi. This did not start until I updated the phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI thought I had the option for different sounds for SMS and MMS a few phones ago, but can't seem to do it now. I'm using ChompSMS btw.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI would like to have my bluetooth headset read my texts with the ability to reply. Is there an app available or something built in the turbo that will allow me to do this? I currently have a Plantronics explorer 505.
View 9 Replies View Relatedthere is a sound recorder. But I don't know how to use it. Maybe there is already a thread about it somewhere. But not that I know of.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIn Settings/Apps/All there is a Sound Recorder App listed. However, in my Apps list from the link on my home page there is no icon for Sound Recorder. How do you open Sound Recorder when there is no icon?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have rebooted, contacted Verizon numerous times, been routed to a Level II technician, but nothing seems to solve the only intermittent problem of getting no notification sound when I get an email. The problem started out getting no ringtone sound when I got a call. Verizon finally fixed that by enabling something on advanced calling in their network. That took numerous trips to the Verizon store. Then, two days ago, I went back to Verizon with my wife to look at the iphone6 for her. I casually mentioned the notification problem to the salesperson, who said the problem was probably due to my downloaded sounds, and that I should stick to the sounds on the phone. I promptly went home and removed the downloaded sounds, but the problem persists. Because the problem is intermittent, no one has been able to fix it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAny way to change the interval that the screen wakes up to show you what notifications you have? I really don't need a reminder every 10 seconds.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a Razr Maxx for a couple years and never had problems with my bluetooth in my car. I upgraded to a Motorola Droid Turbo in June. The bluetooth paired up with my car, no problem, and worked fine for about a week. Unfortunately, something happened and now the sound of the person I'm talking to is garbled, underwater, robotic...whatever you want to call it. I can hear them. The volume is fine. They can hear me fine with no problems. It's just that the incoming sound is messed up. I've taken it to my local dealership/mechanic and they tested it with multiple other phones (iphones, other androids like Samsung and such) and it works just fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung s4 active and all of a sudden the sound stopped working on my phone. Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat is the easiest way to turn off all sound notifications (while keeping all non sound ones) such as when new gmail arrives, I want the phone to actualy ring if there is a new call or sound an alarm if the clock is set- but I don't want it to be saying "Droid" at 4 in the morning for every new email.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my RAZR Maxx running 4.1.2, I had a Recent Caller Log App that allowed me to see the recent callers, both missed and accepted.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI thought one of the last small patches Motorola did on the Turbo allowed data to be sent while on a phone call.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen she receives a text message, there is no sound/vibrate notification. In settings/sound & notification, the notification volume is turned all the way up, and it's also set to vibrate for calls. She receives audio notification of other messages(Facebook, pintrest). We have Verizon for our provider.
