Jun 23, 2010I can barely hear the other person on the line. I know that's probably the noise cancellation is kicking in but still that sucks considering I didn't have such a problem with my 3GS which was pretty loud.

Aug 2, 2011Basically, this morning I noticed that my phone (which I've had without any problems for about a month now) wasn't making any noise when I was locking and un-locking the screen. I listened more carefully and have noticed that the sound is still there but I can only hear it if my ear is right next to the speaker.
The setting, obviously, is still turned on but is there someway the volume on the feature could have been turned down?

Apr 18, 2012Hi I have a problem with my iphone 4S, whilst using facetime I can hear the other person but they cant hear me. visual stuff is fine. the volume buttons (on side) are to max, the phone isnt on silent, i am not clicking the mute button on screen... loudspeaker works during normal calls.... tried hard resets etc, phone is updated, still no luck?

Jun 29, 2012I have an iPhone 4 and over the last few days I can't hear anyone when they call me or when I call them, however they can hear me. I have been using skype to call people on the phone via 3g and that works fine. It started as crackling and static on the line initally but now there is no sound at all. I've tried cleaing out the charger port and headphones jack, checked all volumes, restarted the phone and changed sim card but still to no avail.
