The built in microphone on my 2 year old W350a is barely working. Person on the other end can barely hear me. Increasing the volume (using side button during call) does not do anything. I updated software.

I am looking for a handsfree adapter for my W350a. The one I have is about 5 inches long with a phone connector at one end a 3.5mm female mini jack plug at the other. I have looked at the ATT stores and Best Buy, and also ATT online stores. I can't find it, and almost everyone I talk to tries to point me at headsets with earbuds. I use this adapter to plug in my own headphones and listen to music and educational recordings.
A couple of days ago I got a hold of someone through Sony's online chat who seemed to know what I needed, but the links she sent me were for earbuds. Now the online chat resource seems to have disappeared from Sony's website. Did something change September 1st? I haven't received any response through e-mail except confirmation that they received my e-mail. Does anyone have a reliable online source for this product?
My 350a doesnt see the memory card.When I go to the file "file manager" and move over one to the "on memory stick" it states "memory stick not inserted"The memory card works fine, as I can remove it, insert it into a M2 adaptor, then into my PC and access/retrieve files.I have tried reinstalling the software on the phone via the update service, I have reset the phone (master reset)I have also formated the memory stick but still no success When I attach the phone to the PC via the USB cord the PC does not see the memory stick through the phone either.Is there something that I have missed or am not doing that I should be?

I've tried using Rogers support to reset but it still remains the same. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is this just the quality of the phone itself.

The film on my scroll button has peeled off partially - I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it not working properly. The scroll button does respond to my touch, but barely. It responds much better if I have a napkin or a piece of material over my finger. What could the issue be?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with the GPS on my vivaz.The problem is that it seems to be having trouble finding the satellites and at best only picks up one, giving me a message that says "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed areas".I have had the phone for about two months now and it did work perfectly at first, I have fitted a zagg invisible skin to the phone and cannot recall if I had used the GPS with it fitted but have tried with the back cover removed and the invisible skin peeled back where the GPS sensor is located but to no avail. Can anyone help or is it a warrenty issue?

When i enter the current status: after around 3 or 5 m. it finds around 3 or 4 satellites and they are located on the top of the screen 2 right and 2 left , they are outside the circle. before updating it could find 1 or 2 max. at same locations , but the new soft finds 4 and faster the old soft was R1FA035 too so it is always searching and never connected. View 7 Replies View RelatedSlight technical problem with my C905 . Having updated the phones firmware to R1FA035, it has developed some connectivity issues. Firstly, when I now connect the USB cable, the mode menu pops up, but then disappears and the phone does not connect in any way. In addition, I cannot turn on USB charging in the service settings, just says 'charging off' every time. Also when I connect the phone using the 'C' button to boot, it just boots into mass storage mode.windows does not even pick up any hardware connected. Tried a number of cables on 3 different computers. I have tried doing a master reset but no luck. I cant update the phones software to try fix the problem, as USB does not connect. I tried phoning SE, but they just told me to send it off for a fee...and no guaranteed results.

I get no specific error messages, it's just trying to connect tot satellites but doesn't succeed. When trying to connect to pinpoint my position, the response (in Dutch) is something like: GPS has a poor performance when you are inside. Google Maps is trying to connect all the time, SportyPal is trying to initialize the GPS all the time.
No connection with satellites whatsoever. I'm not sure, but maybe there's a connection with installing SportyPal on my phone? I installed that about a week ago. I have the latest software/firmware update installed successfully. I restarted the phone a couple of times, left it outside for half an hour to get connected, nothing works.
I have a Sony Ericsson W995 and i've had it for about a year now. About 2 weeks ago my space button just randomly packed up. And now my "5" button is also starting to play up, when i press the button nothing happens so sometimes i may be pressing it 10-20 times before it works, Anyone else had this problem? When it's downloaded it looks like half the phone screen are the "web" pages and the lower half is a "navigation pad" with a central "select" button. When I go to place a bet via this app, the "select" button is supposed to make the keypad pop up so that amounts can be entered but nothing happens. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Elm phone today. I made a short video, downloaded the SE PC Suit and sync'd my phone to my PC using a USB. I then copied my video to my desktop and played it in Windows Classic Media Player. Now I have pretty much every codec update under the sun so was suprised to find that the video was extremely choppy. The audio worked fine but the video was extremely slow and it was as if I was watching picture slides as opposed to a video! When I tansferred the video to Vegas Pro there was no video at all, just audio. I could see the video slides in the programme but when I clicked play it was just black (with sound).

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince today, it seems my media player is not working. its opening, i can see which all media are there, but the songs are not playing, the videos are too, like stuck. i switched off, removed battery n put it back, no change. i did master reset, no change still. the problem disappears when a call comes(or missed call), it rings. then immediately if i try, media works. once i exit, and retry, its stuck again. same when i change ring tone volume. after i play ring tone, music works, after exit, problem persists.

Everything seemed to work ok until i have tested the implemented facebook application it automatically checked all the profile in a rush from start to the end (normally it goes profile by profile automatically, but if you tilt the phone left or right it goes one profile left or right). I went to the service menu and i saw the coordinates are not zero when the phone is standing on the edge... i tried to tilt the phone in such way to find the "zero" and I did, but in that case the phone must be tilted a bit backwards and on the diagonal edge of the phone. I also used the SE "Water Level" app and it showed the same result, mine accelerometer is NOT working properly. I searched some pages if there is any way to calibrate it, but found nothing. Does anybody knows if it's possible to calibrate it ? Otherwise I will have to take the phone back to the store.
