Has anyone have encountered a problem with the Elm's ear speaker not working? I can only hear if I use the speaker function. And if I use the headset I can also hear it. Its only the ear speaker that is not working. Is this a hardware issue already? Just have my phone for 2 months.
View 2 RepliesI bought a W595 last year in Jan or Feb.It was working fine until suddenly yesterday the ear speaker malfunctioned.The last call i did before the problem started was fine, the ear speaker worked.But yesterday when i called home, the ear speaker stopped working.My parents could hear me speaking but i couldn't hear them but when i turned on the speaker i could hear them.Is there any way i can fix the ear speaker?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen calling some one, there is an option on the right buttom corner of the screen as: "SPEAKER ON" nad you can switch to the speaker at any time while calling or talking with one button only. Few days ago it has been changed in my screen and it shows "Sound" instead. I should press that and then choose the speaker on. It makes it difficult if you're driving or don't have good visibility. Does any one know if I can switch to the original option: choosing the "speaker on" with one button push?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI've had my W705a for about a year and a half now, and the other day I went to ring someone and couldn't hear a thing. So I put the loud speaker on and then I could hear them. So now, every time I make or receive a call, I have to use the loud speaker because nothing comes out of the normal ear speaker, it's dead. Has anyone else had this problem? I think my phone is out of warranty anyway, so I might just put up with it for another 6 months and get a new phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen people call me I answer and cannot hear anything through the earpiece. I then turn it on speaker and I can hear the other person. I don't believe this is a fault with the earpiece, because occasionally I have called my voicemail and have been able to hear it through the earpiece.
I have tried pressing the C button on restart, and it has done nothing.
I own a W705 and for the past couple of days the external speaker has stopped working. This means I cannot hear the ring tone, handsfree calls or any music.Also, the headphones which come with the phone stopped working about 2 months ago.PLUS. the charger doesn't always work (it will display the charging icon on the screen, but when I unplug it in the morning it hasn't charged at all. v annoying!). When it DOES say it's charging if you even slightly touch the jack part which is connected to the phone, it thinks it has been disconnected and stops charging (this also happened to my old K6..something, which had the exact same power/headphone socket - so i know this isn't a one-off fault. again, V annoying!). Anyway, the phone was bought unbranded in the UK last Christmas, I live in Cambridge UK and would like to know where I can take the phone to have it repaired or replaced.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Zylo handset from the Orange Shop. It worked fine until yesterday but now the ear speaker is totally silent on both incoming and outgoing calls. I have checked the loud speaker, which is fine as is the microphone. There appears to be no other issue with the handset at all. Is there some sort of option I have accidentally turned on?

However I don't get the Loud In-call volume. And when I connect SE MPS-70 speaker to my K850i. I get very low volume. I am getting louder volume in my phone backspeaker than this external speaker.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with the GPS on my vivaz.The problem is that it seems to be having trouble finding the satellites and at best only picks up one, giving me a message that says "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed areas".I have had the phone for about two months now and it did work perfectly at first, I have fitted a zagg invisible skin to the phone and cannot recall if I had used the GPS with it fitted but have tried with the back cover removed and the invisible skin peeled back where the GPS sensor is located but to no avail. Can anyone help or is it a warrenty issue?

When i enter the current status: after around 3 or 5 m. it finds around 3 or 4 satellites and they are located on the top of the screen 2 right and 2 left , they are outside the circle. before updating it could find 1 or 2 max. at same locations , but the new soft finds 4 and faster the old soft was R1FA035 too so it is always searching and never connected. View 7 Replies View RelatedSlight technical problem with my C905 . Having updated the phones firmware to R1FA035, it has developed some connectivity issues. Firstly, when I now connect the USB cable, the mode menu pops up, but then disappears and the phone does not connect in any way. In addition, I cannot turn on USB charging in the service settings, just says 'charging off' every time. Also when I connect the phone using the 'C' button to boot, it just boots into mass storage mode.windows does not even pick up any hardware connected. Tried a number of cables on 3 different computers. I have tried doing a master reset but no luck. I cant update the phones software to try fix the problem, as USB does not connect. I tried phoning SE, but they just told me to send it off for a fee...and no guaranteed results.
View 3 Replies View RelatedA couple of days ago my Satio's GPS receiver doesn't work properly any more. I get no specific error messages, it's just trying to connect tot satellites but doesn't succeed. When trying to connect to pinpoint my position, the response (in Dutch) is something like: GPS has a poor performance when you are inside. Google Maps is trying to connect all the time, SportyPal is trying to initialize the GPS all the time.
No connection with satellites whatsoever. I'm not sure, but maybe there's a connection with installing SportyPal on my phone? I installed that about a week ago. I have the latest software/firmware update installed successfully. I restarted the phone a couple of times, left it outside for half an hour to get connected, nothing works.
I have a Sony Ericsson W995 and i've had it for about a year now. About 2 weeks ago my space button just randomly packed up. And now my "5" button is also starting to play up, when i press the button nothing happens so sometimes i may be pressing it 10-20 times before it works, Anyone else had this problem? Or can suggest how to fix it?

When it's downloaded it looks like half the phone screen are the "web" pages and the lower half is a "navigation pad" with a central "select" button. When I go to place a bet via this app, the "select" button is supposed to make the keypad pop up so that amounts can be entered but nothing happens. I've been on to Paddy Power and they say they have tested the app and all is working fine and that it MUST be a Sony Ericsson problem. now I don't really see how this can be

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Elm phone today. I made a short video, downloaded the SE PC Suit and sync'd my phone to my PC using a USB. I then copied my video to my desktop and played it in Windows Classic Media Player. Now I have pretty much every codec update under the sun so was suprised to find that the video was extremely choppy. The audio worked fine but the video was extremely slow and it was as if I was watching picture slides as opposed to a video! When I tansferred the video to Vegas Pro there was no video at all, just audio. I could see the video slides in the programme but when I clicked play it was just black (with sound).

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince today, it seems my media player is not working. its opening, i can see which all media are there, but the songs are not playing, the videos are too, like stuck. i switched off, removed battery n put it back, no change. i did master reset, no change still. the problem disappears when a call comes(or missed call), it rings. then immediately if i try, media works. once i exit, and retry, its stuck again. same when i change ring tone volume. after i play ring tone, music works, after exit, problem persists.
