Having problem downloading attachments with default email app. When clicked on the app says it is 'fetching' the document but often never works. I can go to a browser based client for, say yahoo mail or comcast mail and the attachment is quickly downloaded. Why the default email app is having this problem?
View 1 RepliesI love my Turbo but my email keeps re-downloading even after I've deleted. I just deleted 123 emails dating back to December. Then I heard email notification again and this time 149 emails were DL'ed again duplicating what I deleted plus some. With the Turbo you can't do a select all to delete so it's one at a time or check all and then hit delete. I can't keep doing this. I've checked email settings and I see nothing where I can get this to stop.
View 8 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, I have a Droid Turbo that will not send emails with a few photos coming to about 15 MB. Same thing happens with our Razr M and Droid Minis, but my iPhone 6 doesn't seem to have an issue. Thought I could do something similar as the iPhone and choose what size I want the photos to be when I send (to at least make the email smaller), but I can't seem to find anything like that either. We are running Exchange 2010 and do not have any email size requirements set for incoming/outgoing mail or for the ActiveSync policy. They just sit in the Outbox until I delete them.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIdeally, any time I make or receive a call I'd like for the screen to be automatically turned off as if I always immediately hit the "screen on/off" button once the call was active.
To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.
I am using N97 with Nokia push email client. I am unable to find out how to download attachements from such emails.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI cannot save attachments to the phone or to my external SD card, which is not encrypted. I have no Exchange 2010 security policies blocking attachments. ICS is not set to encrypt anything. I use NitroDesk TouchDown, which also has no saving restrictions or encryption set.I go through the process of Save, or Save All, and try to save, or create a new folder in which to save, and then click to save the file. I can see the new folder I created, but there is never a file saved. Rebooting does not make it show, nor does dismounting and remounting the SD card.Probably related to the above problem, if I have an email in TD with an attachment, for example a DOCX file, I can open it in Documents to Go, but if I do a Save As from there, it will not let me save it anywhere. If I use Docs to Go and create a new Word doc, I can save it anywhere I choose, so it is as though TD will not let me manipulate my attachments.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am unable to send an email with a new attachment via my corporate email. It does not matter if the attachment is 50kb or 1mb. I tried to do the same via GMail and had no issues. If I receive a corporate email with an attachment, I can forward that without any issues. The problem is when I add an attachment to an email. I also tried using Touchdown which had the same issue.
I have tried the following:
checked exchange / activesync settings to verify no restrictions reformatted the sd card, even though attachments were not on there. couple of reboots removing and re-adding the corporate account
how to stop attachments from being downloaded automatically?

I have a Droid razr maxx and an exchange server with it configured on.my phone However now Im having trouble sending any email with my razr maxx on the exchange account if I try and add any sort of attachment to the email it refuses to send just sits in my outbox?

I have the email set to save a copy of the email on the server. some reason the phone keeps going back and grabbing email that I've all ready viewed several days ago. I delet it, and next cycle it goes back and pickes up email from an even later date.Never happened until the ice cream update yesterday. how to stop it?

My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have rebooted, contacted Verizon numerous times, been routed to a Level II technician, but nothing seems to solve the only intermittent problem of getting no notification sound when I get an email. The problem started out getting no ringtone sound when I got a call. Verizon finally fixed that by enabling something on advanced calling in their network. That took numerous trips to the Verizon store. Then, two days ago, I went back to Verizon with my wife to look at the iphone6 for her. I casually mentioned the notification problem to the salesperson, who said the problem was probably due to my downloaded sounds, and that I should stick to the sounds on the phone. I promptly went home and removed the downloaded sounds, but the problem persists. Because the problem is intermittent, no one has been able to fix it.

I used the same settings that I did with my RAZR MAXX HD. initially replies were sent correctly but after about a week they became jammed up in the Outbox. I had to delete the account and started again but this time it only worked for 2 days.
