Aug 8, 2010When I want to select a ringtone the list doesn't show only the ringtones but all mp3s/videos I have . Is there a way to see only the ringtones?

Feb 5, 2010I find that I call and message the same people more regularly than the rest of my phonebook. As such, I believe it would be much easier to have a "Favorites" or a "Recently Used" section at the start of my phonebook to quickly find my most commonly contacted friends.
The "Recently Used" section could be similar to how Microsoft Word works where it saves your last 10 used fonts at the top of the menu when you click to change the font of your text. How do I go about suggesting this to Nokia to update their software?

I've been trying to install the new maps application from since its release with no success. It showed up on my software update list but every time I try and install it - the update fails. I've read through most of the other posts where other users have had similar problems and tried to incorporate all the suggestions to circumvent my own problems such as,
1. Performing a hard reset and uninstalling Nokia maps via the application manager on the device
2. Deleting all the map data and voice files before trying the update
3. I've reinstalled firmware version 21.0.045 via Nokia software updater
So I've tried most things to get the new maps version, I live in Dorset and have no Nokia store near me.

Jun 14, 2010I have noticed recently when I add music to my nokia 5800 all the newly added tracks do not show up under there artists name but instead show up under 'unknown' in the list of artists. How do I organise my music so it shows up under the correct artists name.

May 24, 2012i have a problem by adding/editing new contact, after i added/edited the contact, it will shown on top of all my contact list, and i can't scroll the letter before the alphabet i added/edited.For example: i added James into my new contact list, it will appear on top of all my contacts with the alphabet J, then i can't scroll down using the scroll bar beside to search for the contacts name with alphabet before J like i want to search Benjamin using scroll bar but i can't, if i want to search someone name with alpahbet after J is fine, what's wrong with my phone?

Mar 29, 2010I just got my first Blackberry, the Curve8350, and everything for the first week went great. Then, I updated the software.Like many people here I was frustrated with the lock feature being changed/removed/unnecessary, and not being able to use the left key to lock it (I don't want the hassles of entering a password, I've already found that "solution" to the problem). Also, the green aol mail icon that represented my email changed to just the normal default icon. This may seem minor, but I am very particular with my phone and was beyond displeased that things had changed.
Anyway - I downgraded, hoping that everything would be back to normal. Being a new user, I wasn't smart enough to back up my phone, blah-blah-blah, I took it up to Verizon, had them add my contacts from a previous phone, then set out to re-customize the phone AGAIN.
I am now running v5.0.0.337. Wordmole, Sudoku, and a few other games that came with the phone have vanished. I set a downloaded ringtone as my default tone - I did this for all profiles - but all entries in my contacts list still say "Ringer_ClassicPhone" - the OLD default. I have set custom ringers for a few people, and have no problems with anything. However, if anyone else that just has the supposed "default" tone calls, it's the classicphone ringer - NOT the tone I have selected. I am not going to go through 100+ contacts and manually change them to the tone and volume that should ALREADY be set!

Mar 24, 2012Once I updated my IPhone to the latest OS 5.1, I noticed the keyboard shown at search Page is now shown at all pages which means I can't use the application in the lower half of the page. I have to lock and unlock to remove the keyboard!!!

May 29, 2010a while ago I bought a Nokia 3250 phone and in the manual it says that it supports SPP next to a list of other services. When I try to enable it in the Bluetooth options, though, it only displays DUN.A friend of mine was suggesting that Windows is the problem and I should switch to Linux as I really need to get this going because this project is part of my graduation. Jul 20, 2010I have an N97 mini and I have about 40 contacts in my phonebook.I have added the number of a friend to my contacts but, when he texts or calls me, his name doesnt show on my phone.It just shows his normal phone number +4477****.I am 100% certain that the number added is correct and is shown in my contacts. I have tried deleting and adding it again, but it still doesnt show his name.I have even tried changing the name and phone number of another existing contact to his name number, but it still doesnt show his name when he calls or texts.All my other contacts work fine.Anybody know what is happening here?Am I missing something really obvious?

Some people numbers saved in adress book when calling to me I see, their name, but most of saved names and numbers in adress/sim book, don't show name, only number, like they aren't saved in phone book. Nov 15, 2011Basically when trying to play .mp3 files certain albums/folders aren�t being recognized by the music player. I have a folder called Music and within that I keep a load of folders with albums inside each. However for the albums that wont play, if I move individual songs outwith their album folder so that they just sit as loose files within the music directory then the music player recognises them.
