BB Bold :: 9700 Error Shown: "The Number Of Redirection Has Exceeded?
Jan 28, 2011When browsing certain sites from the BB Bold 9700, we are getting a problem which shows "The number of redirection has exceeded".I need to know the reason of this. As for the initial info, there is only 2 internal redirection in server(IIS 7) when the BB accesses the site and it encounters any server side error. But in case for general, there is only 1 redirection when accessed from BB.When I accessed from any other devices, the same URL is opening fine. Please let me know for any possible solution for this.

Apr 25, 2010I am really happy with my N900, but one thing is frustrating me.When I have a contact with multiple numbers saved and they are calling me or sending me sms (even worse in the latter case), I would like to be able to see from which number they are dialing to know whether they are calling from abroad, local, mobile, fixed instead of just seeing their name when they call.With the sms, I can't even know from which number they sent the sms!solution please.

Mar 17, 2010I am not happy with the V 40 update for my device. The problems faced are,
1. Sometimes cannot accept calls - Error shown is request rejected
2. Music library get corrupted.
3. Camera doesnot flash on its own in low light.
4. Hangs quite a times.
5. Use OVI maps only to restart your phone.
6. Sensor controls are bad.
7. Installing a few applications gets it slow.
8. Clock doesnot display its time on the home screen.
I am seriously annoyed by this.First I did the update myself.I then visited a Nokia Care centre and the version was reinstalled. I still have the same problems. I have done it myself through the software updater and OVI suite. Thats means a total of 4 updates and still the errors are present.
Nokia N900 :: PC-Suite - Searching SMS By Subject / Senders Number
Jul 24, 2010Well, PC Suite or Ovi, both are not yet fully supported on Nokia n900, unfortunately.I used to use the PC Suite conveniently to send SMSs by typing it thru my laptop.It was a very convenient way of searching SMSs by subject or by the sender's number. I could also copy/paste an SMS sender's number and save as a new Contact.It was also a convenient way of searching the Contacts also, by typing in a few keywords or a few numbers.I am missing all these functionalities badly.Well, Nokia n900 will eventually substitute my laptop at least that is my intention but I am not there yet. Even then, I shall require the convenient search/ editing facilities in the PC Suite/ Ovi to manage the Contacts and Messages.

Nokia :: N900 - SIM Card Registration Error
May 19, 2010Here is the poblem I have since yesterday. If I put my friend's Sim Card in my N900, everything works fine. If I put my own Sim Card into my friend's phone, everything also works fine. If I put my own sim card into my N900, and try to make call immediate after the screen boots up (icons are slow then, still loading), then it also works fine.
However if my N900 properly boots up, then I cannot make calls at all. Setting it to offline mode then normal mode will not register with my network and result in Sim Card registration error if I wait long enough. So it seems like my N900 won't take my Sim Card after booting. it will take it during booting, but some process killed it. Can someone help me solve this? I do not remember installing anything since last time it worked.

Jan 17, 2010I've just recieved the N900 (UK on Vodafone) but straight away i've come across and error which means it's going back for a replacement handset - although Vodafone currently struggling to have the N900 in stock! The error is "internal error closing app". My concern now is reading lots of blogs i'm currently concerned that the N900 is not yet ready for the market and perhaps should be looking for something else. Is the phone the way forward?

May 15, 2010I find that when the phone is on charge I can never power it on, it simply reboot repeatedly after the logo shows up, it is on V 10.2010.12-9.I also have problem with the USB charging, I can charge the phone with the PC via a standard USB cable, but the same cable doesn't not charge with external battery pack, and I got a special cable that charge both with PC and external battery pack, but it does not do data transfer, so I have to carry 2 cables and spare battery. Since i don't have data plan i need wi-fi to download an app or a game.
