Apr 27, 2010xml is not well formed happens when i click on links from facebook mobile links to Internet videos, or any other external links. this used to work before, just started happening out of nowhere.also, caller id doesnt display names from contacts, just the number they are calling from1-10 calls will show the contact name.

May 19, 2010Here is the poblem I have since yesterday. If I put my friend's Sim Card in my N900, everything works fine. If I put my own Sim Card into my friend's phone, everything also works fine. If I put my own sim card into my N900, and try to make call immediate after the screen boots up (icons are slow then, still loading), then it also works fine.
However if my N900 properly boots up, then I cannot make calls at all. Setting it to offline mode then normal mode will not register with my network and result in Sim Card registration error if I wait long enough. So it seems like my N900 won't take my Sim Card after booting. it will take it during booting, but some process killed it. Can someone help me solve this? I do not remember installing anything since last time it worked.

Jan 17, 2010I've just recieved the N900 (UK on Vodafone) but straight away i've come across and error which means it's going back for a replacement handset - although Vodafone currently struggling to have the N900 in stock! The error is "internal error closing app". My concern now is reading lots of blogs i'm currently concerned that the N900 is not yet ready for the market and perhaps should be looking for something else. Is the phone the way forward?

May 15, 2010I find that when the phone is on charge I can never power it on, it simply reboot repeatedly after the logo shows up, it is on V 10.2010.12-9.I also have problem with the USB charging, I can charge the phone with the PC via a standard USB cable, but the same cable doesn't not charge with external battery pack, and I got a special cable that charge both with PC and external battery pack, but it does not do data transfer, so I have to carry 2 cables and spare battery. I also find that, the phone is unable to charge a completely ran down battery, it must be charge on the dock, I think that's why the set comes with a dock charge, other non Nokia USB charging phone also comes with the dock charge (in my region), so I think this is a common problem of USB charging, and the reason may be the charging is s/w controlled, if the battery is dry the phone won't work so no

May 26, 2010I am updating my N900 using Nokia Software Updater. It stops at a certain point (at 6.3MB) and then shows error message of slow connectivity.
Inspite of good connectivity, When I try again it resumes from 6.3MB and immediately throws the error. I tried reinstalling NSU but didn't help.Is there any way to clear cache of NSU?

1) I am unable to work out how to bluetooth mp3 files to another mobile. Ok with videos and pictures as option is there but nothing for mp3's.
2) Can't pair the phone with car kit. I have the password which is the same as previous one but when pairing n900 I get an error message saying 'authentication failed'.

Jun 28, 2010Is anyone else intermittently getting a pop-up alert on their i4 Safari that states "Cannot Open Page Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found"?I only get this on 3G and not WiFi and it's intermittent but frequent enough to be a hassle. It's happening on a number of websites. I have erased my unit and restored and even erased my i4 and did a fresh setup and get the same results. If I try to open the same website in Opera, it opens fine. Five minutes later, the site will typically open up in Safari. My wife's 3GS with iOS4 does not seem to have this issue.Apps using 3G do not seem to have this intermittent issue, they never have a problem communicating. The only other issue I see is the Apps Store will intermittently come back with a "can't connect error". I have seen a few people post the same Safari issue on the Apple support forums but I am surprised to see no one here mentioning it, making me wonder if it's my phone or AT&T. I am on the 2 gig data plan since I added this phone as a new line vs. replacing my 3GS line (that line and phone are going to someone else).
