I can acess internet but whenever I want to sign in on any web page, I cannot sign in as it shows Page load error. This happen for all webs grom Google, ovi, yahoo, facebook & etc. i can browse the page except signing. Please do help me. Is there any security setting or anything to configure in the setting.
View 12 RepliesMy wife accidently going through her contacts went to the very top where there's a drop down menu for Phone or Contacts. It went to Contacts. Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.
Does anyone know what address the sign in page takes you too? When i click sign in it comes up with an error "COULD NOT SIGN IN" ."NOKIA OVI SUITE COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE NOKIA ACCOUNT SERVER. MAKE SURE INTERNET CONNECTION IS WORKING PROPERLY AND TRY AGAIN".So if possible does anyone know what it is so i can have the exceptions allowed on my work PC.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was having some problems with the browsing on my phone, so I called my carrier for support and they instructed me to pull the battery and the sim card. When I put everything back in, it told me I was using a new sim card and to enter my blackberry ID. I tried what I thought it was, but it said that the username/password I had entered wasn't a valid ID, so I emailed my carrier and was instructed on how to reset the password, and now I can log in with my blackberry ID on the computer just fine, but when I put it in my phone, it still tells me that I'm not entering a valid username/password. I'm stuck on this page and can't use my phone, and if I try and sign out, it tells me "Signing out will require erasing all data, so settings can return to factory defaults. After the restart, sign in with a BlackBerry ID to associate it with this smartphone."
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble loading any web page in my Browser; I am connecting to WiFi, and have tried at home and the office (in both cases, other devices can get an internet connection fine)when I load the browser and a webpage (eg. url...) the blue progress bar appears at the bottom showing it is loading, but then gets stuck at the end, and just hangs.This just started happening a few days ago, previously it worked fine. I checked the other suggestion re. clearing the cache and changing the default browser, these did not help.I installed the Blackberry Messenger update a few weeks ago, and web browsing worked fine after this, so I dont believe this is the cause.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the past couple of days, I keep getting the message that Safari cannot load a page when I click on links or try to do a search on my iPhone. My signal strength would be strong the whole time. And if I keep hitting reload, the page will usually eventually load, but it's taking a lot of time. I don't have the same problem with other apps that require a data connection. I've already tried rebooting the phone multiple times by pressing the home and power buttons simultaneously, but that hasn't solved the problem. I also cleared history, cookies, and data. I haven't tested it enough yet while I've been on a Wi-Fi connection since the past couple of days I've mostly been on 3G so not sure if it's a network issue although as I mentioned the signal strength appears very strong and if I launch other apps that use a network connection, they have no loading issues.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am not able to sign into Ovi, from the Nokia Ovi Suite. Every time I try doing that it would tell make sure the internet connection is working properly and try again(see attachment). This is ridiculous, I am always connected to the internet using wifi.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 running BB OS 5. Recently the default BB browser will not load pages. After navigating to any page the loading bar at the bottom of the screen will fill up but when it is fill the browser will display a blank page. I installed Opera Mini on the devise and it opens up and displays all web pages fine. I have tried removing the battery and re inserting it without success. I am also unable to reinstall the browser from the BB desktop app. Is there any way to fix this issue without reintalling the OS from scratch?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a new (to me) Lumia 1020 and while it is fast and fluid everywhere else, web pages sometimes take forever (sometimes as long as 15 seconds) to load. Often it is the first visit to a page after opening IE, but not always.
I am on a VERY fast WiFi connection that is capable of 120Mb/s and tests at about 50Mb/s using a speed test app on the phone. Other PCs on the same WiFi network do not exhibit ANY page load delays.
The issue seems the same whether I am on WiFi or cell data (ATT LTE with a strong signal).
Data Sense is set to NOT compress web pages, but the issue seems the same if I enable web page compression.
Why web pages take so long to load... sometimes? It is the only issue I have with WP8.1.
The native browser on my 9550 won't load anything...not my home page...NOTHING! I open up the browser and the blue progress bar along the bottom of the screen just creeps and creeps for hours (blank white screen). The only thing I have changed is I downloaded the Reuters app around the same time the problem started.

But now when I connect the N8 I get the "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" error. Have tried uninstalling and re-adding the hardware, but keep getting the same problem. Have tried installing drivers from the download on the Nokia site, version 7.1.34.0, but it refuses to do so, telling me I have more up to date drivers already installed (although the installed ones seem to be 7.1.32.62, which is older, isn't it..?)

My internet is connected! I manually sign into Ovi.com with no problem. No proxies or anything like that.
