I have a 9700 bold & updated it to os 6 recently.I have never had any problems before but since updating it, when I am browsing different sites I will get a message saying 'closing this page because its too large', and then the page just shuts down. Its seriously annoying me as I had no problems ever before the update and I have had blackberry's for nearly 3 years without issues. Also I recently had a new router installed by an IT company and my wifi will not work with it at all, although it says I have full signal.I have tried everything - the usual reboot etc - the IT guy said he spoke to someone from BB and they said it was something to do with the bb blocking the router security wise.
I am having trouble loading any web page in my Browser; I am connecting to WiFi, and have tried at home and the office (in both cases, other devices can get an internet connection fine)when I load the browser and a webpage (eg. url...) the blue progress bar appears at the bottom showing it is loading, but then gets stuck at the end, and just hangs. This just started happening a few days ago, previously it worked fine. I checked the other suggestion re. clearing the cache and changing the default browser, these did not help.I installed the Blackberry Messenger update a few weeks ago, and web browsing worked fine after this, so I dont believe this is the cause.
For the past couple of days, I keep getting the message that Safari cannot load a page when I click on links or try to do a search on my iPhone. My signal strength would be strong the whole time. And if I keep hitting reload, the page will usually eventually load, but it's taking a lot of time. I don't have the same problem with other apps that require a data connection. I've already tried rebooting the phone multiple times by pressing the home and power buttons simultaneously, but that hasn't solved the problem. I also cleared history, cookies, and data. I haven't tested it enough yet while I've been on a Wi-Fi connection since the past couple of days I've mostly been on 3G so not sure if it's a network issue although as I mentioned the signal strength appears very strong and if I launch other apps that use a network connection, they have no loading issues.
I can acess internet but whenever I want to sign in on any web page, I cannot sign in as it shows Page load error. This happen for all webs grom Google, ovi, yahoo, facebook & etc. i can browse the page except signing. Please do help me. Is there any security setting or anything to configure in the setting.
Recently, my browser has been freezing while loading half-way for a NEW PAGE ( new website ). For example, if I go to google, it will load half way, freeze for about 10 seconds, then it will be fine. This occurs EVERYTIME I click a new link.
I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 running BB OS 5. Recently the default BB browser will not load pages. After navigating to any page the loading bar at the bottom of the screen will fill up but when it is fill the browser will display a blank page. I installed Opera Mini on the devise and it opens up and displays all web pages fine. I have tried removing the battery and re inserting it without success. I am also unable to reinstall the browser from the BB desktop app. Is there any way to fix this issue without reintalling the OS from scratch?
I have a new (to me) Lumia 1020 and while it is fast and fluid everywhere else, web pages sometimes take forever (sometimes as long as 15 seconds) to load. Often it is the first visit to a page after opening IE, but not always.
I am on a VERY fast WiFi connection that is capable of 120Mb/s and tests at about 50Mb/s using a speed test app on the phone. Other PCs on the same WiFi network do not exhibit ANY page load delays.
The issue seems the same whether I am on WiFi or cell data (ATT LTE with a strong signal).
Data Sense is set to NOT compress web pages, but the issue seems the same if I enable web page compression.
Why web pages take so long to load... sometimes? It is the only issue I have with WP8.1.
The native browser on my 9550 won't load anything...not my home page...NOTHING! I open up the browser and the blue progress bar along the bottom of the screen just creeps and creeps for hours (blank white screen). The only thing I have changed is I downloaded the Reuters app around the same time the problem started.
Whenever I click on a hyperlink, it takes me to the site, but the page doesn't load up. In other words, I see the web address at the top, but I get a blank white page and the phone doesn't even try to load it. If I hit the back page to go to the original site and click the hyperlink a second time, then the page loads up.
I've got a blackberry curve 8520 and the other day, it completely wiped itself. I've managed to connect it back to my wifi but whenever i click on my browser and try to load a page it says 'Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later.' even though it says i am connected to the wireless.
I have a blackberry bold 9700 (completely up to date etc and about a year old). For whatever reason it now will not load full images on my browser and when i save images whilst on the net they are saved in a very small format. This started happening a couple of months ago.
I upgraded my BB 9900 with the new version of bbm 126.96.36.199 on 12/11/2012 with 18modules and did the sysn to the bb desktop manager. to my surprise I dont see the bbm icon any more. I have looked andsearched it everywhere from instant messages folder to search icon but it's no where found
Everytime I try to download Apps it goes to the Blackberry Id page - I enter my username and password and I keep getting an error message that states " enter the username associated with this smartphone" I can't get past this point....
I have a new Tour Blackberry 9630. Is there a way to have Web page bookmark shortcuts on the Home page? I have tried several copies, moves etc and can not seem to make it work. Want to be able to click on a bookmark and have it open Internet and go to that page.
This sounds totally "noobish" but, for some reason my "Weather" app has jumped from the homepage native app group on my 3GS to the second page. Is there anyway to get it back on the homepage where it belongs? I've tried to drag it drop it on the homepage but it no workie!!
On my iPhone4, I have 3 pages, 1/2 filled with apps. Is there a way to move an app from like page 3 to page 2? (The reason this came up is because I have my sports apps all together on page 2, and another sports app on page 3 so I can't seem to get it over to put it with the others.)
i have just purchased a C1-01. On the display I a large icon showing my battery life and signal, my network providor name, a really large time display and a slightly smaller date. I have tried to look under the date and time settings, but there is no option for hiding it. It's really annoying but I've no idea how to make it go away.
If I go to Storage on the S5, the miscellaneous category shows more than 5GB in size but when I click on it and add all the files I get less than 500 MB... what gives? I get alerts that my storage is running low and I should delete some older pictures. Why do that when I could get rid of the misc files (all 5GB of them)
