View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 5000, bought 3 years ago. I can connect the phone to Nokia Suite via Bluetooth. However there is no way to backup my messages, neither via synchronize (fails with explicit error message) nor via the backup utility (spends a lot of time apparently downloading messages, and then they are not present in the .nbu backup file, as can be clearly seen by the small size of the file - I have more than 4000 messages and the file is only 300 kB with the contacts).Is there a way to download my messages?

I am trying for some time now to set up my email account on my new Nokia E72 without any success. I hit the email setup button, chose the right access point provided by the mobile company and after I enter the email and password the message "maximum number connections in use. Close an active connection first" appears. Here I only have two options OK or CANCEL. Hitting CANCEL it just gets out of what I was doing. Hitting OK it only gives me the acces point which I am using without any other option so I have to close it. Could anyone help me with this problem please?

I have an issue to sync like 80+ folders from the mailbox and it is about 500 MB. Maybe an issue with the structure of folders ?
I have tried to move one subfolder containing like 30 folders from Mailbox to a root and then back.

As for the initial info, there is only 2 internal redirection in server(IIS 7) when the BB accesses the site and it encounters any server side error. My issue is this, my messaging icons do not depict number of unread messages, at all. Including the Samsung default text messaging app, Gmail and Verizon email. They did when I first got the phone (Galaxy S6) but have not at all today after doing some simple personalization.
Additionally, I have gone into app manager and the individual apps and the show notifications check box is checked.
I deleted a few messages before I read them, and it now it says I have 4 unread messages, yet my messages are cleared. I tried restarting, reconciling, taking the battery out,Since I deleted the messages, I cannot go back and click on it to mark it has "read" and therefore take the notifications away.

Unfortunately when the Blackberry device blocks a text message, it reports to the sender that the message has been delivered to my phone (delivery receipt/mobile ack.) . When I connect with PC Suite (either Bluetooth or USB able) it is *constantly* showing me less messages on my phone then I really have. E.g. I have 782 message in a folder, but it shows me only around 600. And for other folders too. A few look normal. Even breaking up folders into more doesn't help. When I look at some messages, then PC Suite seems to concatenate a lot of messages into one message.And also when backing up messages, this backup is totally garbled and useless concerning my messages. My memory is running low on the phone, so I desperately want to save/export them on a card, but this way i can never do this and messages get lost (Btw on my phone itself everything is normal.
