the date and time are set though my text meassages for the last 5 days all come up under 14 June 2043 which is getting a little frustrating. I have tried deleting all the messages in tht hope that from then on messages recieved would show the right date but no joy.

I woke up this morning (24th December), and my phone had set the date and time to the 29th November, and the time is 6 hours behind (its now 3pm and it is apparently 8:43 on my phone.) Moreover, I can't read my text messages, I can't see text messages that I send, and my blackberry services have stopped working (i.e.. I cannot send emails or access BBM.) I have restarted/rebooted the phone almost a million times, but every time it comes back on the time keeps being set back to 7:49 every single time. I have no idea what to do!

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I access the call log from the main screen, highlight a call and select view history, the date displays wrong. Even if I just made a call, hang up and view the log, it shows the date as the next day. Example: Made a few calls last night (Mar 08), then had to report date and time; after all calls made, viewed call log to get times and showed calls made on Mar 09. However, if I go to Messages / View Folder / Phone Call Logs, the dates are showed correctly. Any idea why this is?

View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone have a problem (perhaps since .905, maybe an update before that) with Text Messages not being shown as being read after you've read them? It is getting really annoying... I get a text message, I read it, and I go to look at a new text message and there it is looking all Unread! It may even make an indicator appear in the top bar (but I'm not 100% positive about that). I've seen this problem arise on PC's in Outlook, but it's definitely never been a problem of mine with cell phones before.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy S5 is getting full and I believe it's my text messages. The stock messaging app just crashes every time I try to load it. When I do get it running, the message cap appears to do nothing to the pre-existing messages. My messages kept getting restored from backup through several phone upgrades, from S2, S3, S4 and now to S5. I have over 10K messages each with several people and multitudes of others.
1. Is there a way to determine exactly how many text messages I have on my phone?
2. Is there a way to delete messages by date, ie all messages prior to say June 2014?
I have less than 1Gb of space left and my phone is slowly dying.
I have an iphone 4 (not 4s) my phone company is chargin me an incredible high number of text messages while I was out of the country, that was 2 months ago. I want to know if there is a way to look for messages by date and not by person I texted, because I really dont remember who do I texted or if I really texted, so I been looking around all my messages for about 2 weeks but I have lots and lots of friends so it is impossible.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was texting with someone earlier today, I sent a text at 4:31 pm and they immediately responded but their text message was time stamped at 11:32 am.For some reason all of the texts I receive are time stamped as 5 hours earlier.The people I'm texting with are located in my same timezone, and the timezone is correct in the settings of my phone. It's set to automatic but I switched to manual and checked to see that the correct timezone was selected.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Lumia 800 and have discovered a bug where the recipient name is wrong if contacts have very similar phone numbers. Example:
I have two contacts with the following phone numbers
Contact 1. - 0703 246 802
Contact 2. - 0705 246 802
Note that the only thing differing the contacts is 0703 from 0705.
Regardless of whom of these two I send a text message they always show as being sent to Contact 1. This includes any History as well, they are all grouped into Contact 1 regardless of to which phone number I send the text message to. This is very annoying and it makes it impossible to see who actually had the message sent to when looking back at the history. I have tried moving the numbers around to different contact categories, changing contact name and so on, but it has made no difference to the behavior.
I just got a Motorola Defy (the Scandinavian version, with Android 2.2.2), and I'm very happy with it so far. However, there is a strange little bug in it: Every time I type ":-)" in a text message, it will be replaced with a "sad face" icon (). And every time I type a capital letter "B", it is replaced with a "sunglasses" icon () in the message.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that a lot of my calendar entries, particularly recurring, all-day events show up on the wrong day in my calendar. I have the same problem whether I choose the agenda, daily, weekly or monthly view. Typically these events show up on two days, one entry on the correct date, and another on the following date, which makes me think it has to do with time zones or daylight savings time. I don't recall when the error first started. When I try to open the incorrect entry, I don't have any options to edit the event. When I open the correct entry, I can open the series or just the occurrence, but I can't edit it either. I am syncing my device with Lotus Notes 8.5.1 FP3 over the air using a BES. I've checked the calendar entry in Lotus Notes and it looks correct.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got another V10 and I notice in settings, about phone, status it shows a last factory data reset date and time. This is the same date and time that I opened and started the phone new out of the box.
I have never done a factory data reset to the phone. Does your V10 show a "Last Factory Data Reset" under these settings?
I've never seen a new phone fresh out of the box showing a last factory data reset logged.
Every text i'm getting is coming in saying it was received at 2.22 on Sat 3 Oct 2043! I know it's only a small thing but it's driving me mad!

It's not showing up like a proper conversation, just two titles (my name and the reciever's name) with all of our texts in order. This is really annoying, and I want it back to how it was - normal.

It is amazing that this can happen without any warning. This is definitely not the first time I'm loosing all my data. It's so frustrating that I'm considering strongly to leave BlackBerry and switch to another make.Also a helpdesk you can call to and speak to a real person seems to be not in place at BlackBerry. Maybe they hate customers?

Was recently on vacation and somehow while in my luggage the date got changed to 08/02/2018 on my motoactv.
I ran for 10k on the 11th of July. Noticed the date and Reset the time and date to correct date and time. Synced my work outs from the last few days okay when I got back. Only problem is when I go to recent workouts on Motoactv the recent work out is blank - "No Raw Data", on the android app I can see the run as my most recent, shows the date and data but still for 2018. there is no way on the motoactv.com site to change the date of the run.
If I do another run it still shows the run 08/02/2018 as my most recent on both the android app and on the motoactv site.
Can someone change the date to 11/07/2012 or will I have to try and delete it from the android app and lose my run data?
