I have one question about my mobile. Everything is working well on my Nokia C2-01 otherwise, but the time showed on text messages varies. Phone is showing right time on messages I send, but the ones I receive have time one hour earlier. What can I do to get the time correctly?
View 3 Repliesthe date and time are set though my text meassages for the last 5 days all come up under 14 June 2043 which is getting a little frustrating. I have tried deleting all the messages in tht hope that from then on messages recieved would show the right date but no joy.
View 7 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone have a problem (perhaps since .905, maybe an update before that) with Text Messages not being shown as being read after you've read them? It is getting really annoying... I get a text message, I read it, and I go to look at a new text message and there it is looking all Unread! It may even make an indicator appear in the top bar (but I'm not 100% positive about that). I've seen this problem arise on PC's in Outlook, but it's definitely never been a problem of mine with cell phones before.

You can see the date if you select the details, but no time. Is there a way to set time stamps on text messages?

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn my message threads, for any messages I have sent it gives the time of the text message in the bottom right of the message. However for any that I have received it only gives the date.
Not the end of the world I know but can be handy to have the time.Is this something that is possible or do I just have to live with it?
When I press send, the scrolling screen appears for about 10 seconds before the text is sent.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using the latest PC Suite 7.1.40.1. My phone is a 7373. When I connect with PC Suite (either Bluetooth or USB able) it is *constantly* showing me less messages on my phone then I really have. E.g. I have 782 message in a folder, but it shows me only around 600. And for other folders too. A few look normal. Even breaking up folders into more doesn't help. When I look at some messages, then PC Suite seems to concatenate a lot of messages into one message.And also when backing up messages, this backup is totally garbled and useless concerning my messages. My memory is running low on the phone, so I desperately want to save/export them on a card, but this way i can never do this and messages get lost (Btw on my phone itself everything is normal.

Is there anyway to keep the text messages on the screen all the time? When i get a text and respond they dont stay on the screen.My old lg phones always stayed on the screen. And if you are texting 2 or more people at the same time and they send you a text in the middle of what you are typing it automatically sends what you are texting to the drafts folder. When I turn my phone on in the morning I often get messages from the night before from drunken mates However, the phone tells me the receive time (i.e. now), not the time the message was sent (which my old SE W302 would do). I've loaded Handcent to see if that helped but it does the same thing.

At the moment it gets up to about 2000 texts and then I have to delete them either one by one or the entire inbox at once. I have the sent messages set to hold only 100 texts but cannot work out how to do this with my inbox.

It's set to automatic but I switched to manual and checked to see that the correct timezone was selected.

My phone gets text messages and can receive calls at certain time but after a while if you try to make a call or send a text it won't go thru even though I have full bars or close to it.
Its weird I have service for like half an hour then suddently it stops. I have asked people with blackberrys who have verizon in the area and they aren't having any problems.
I have tried taking out the battery/Reset. It worked a few times but these last few days it has not solved the problem.
I already spoke to Verizon and they tried to do some troubleshooting with me.
My phone was working after I talking with Verizon but the problem keeps reoccurring.
Im in an area where I can't call 228 so even when my phone is working I cant update the software.
Can I remove limited time of recording? It's inconvenient and that bothers me.

I have never done a factory data reset to the phone. Does your V10 show a "Last Factory Data Reset" under these settings?

Just purchased a C2-00. Whenever I make a call normally, the voice can be heard on the earpiece & very clearly on the loudspeaker also - AT THE SAME TIME...When I turn on the speaker phone on, then the loud speaker gets activated & is loud, which is normal of any phone. Is this a problem with my handset or a feature given by Nokia that the Earpiece & loudspeaker will function at the same time?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using my Nokia C5-00 for about a year now without any problems. Recently however, it started to show wrong time (like it was going too fast). The offset is usually about 15-30 minutes forward. Initially I thought that its just few seconds per minute faster than it should be (like a normal mechanism watch) and I tried to explain it with processor clock being somehow off, but I noticed that it must at one point just skip these several minutes.
I've never spotted this "skipping" explicitly but it happens once per 10-15 hours, I guess. E.g. it shows proper time the whole day and when I go to sleep but next morning its off several minutes. It happens both with automatic time update On and Off. I haven't updated my software for a couple of months now, but the one I got is up to date (according to Ovi).
When is the patch anticipated for our C5's to fix the broken clock problems?If it just displayed the wrong time it would be one thing, but since it affects the ordering of text messages displayed et al, it's a bit more of a catastrophic issue.
Others have reported that hard resetting the device only lasts momentarily and that the bug is pretty fatal.
