Ive purchased a brand new BB Torch and i would like to change the way the date of my appointments are shown on the screen. Today, its shown like: MM/DD/YY and i need DD/MM/YY.
View 3 RepliesI have had Iphone for the last 2 years, and what is anoying me is that I can't get my upcomming calender appointments shown on my front page or locked screen.
I have the Iphone 5s.Â
the date and time are set though my text meassages for the last 5 days all come up under 14 June 2043 which is getting a little frustrating. I have tried deleting all the messages in tht hope that from then on messages recieved would show the right date but no joy.
View 7 Replies View RelatedJust got another V10 and I notice in settings, about phone, status it shows a last factory data reset date and time. This is the same date and time that I opened and started the phone new out of the box.
I have never done a factory data reset to the phone. Does your V10 show a "Last Factory Data Reset" under these settings?
I've never seen a new phone fresh out of the box showing a last factory data reset logged.
I've got the same problem probably after updating a new version ,I can't set up the home screen date and the only information that appear on the screen is d MMM ,the day in Hebrew . I receive my mobile from Holland with original version .
1.Does the option to return to the manufacture version exist..??
2.Is it suppose to help solving the problem ??
Does anybody know if it is possible to display the time / clock and date on my phone's screen when the phone is on but in "standby mode" (black screen)? I can't find a setting anywhere on the menu to activate this.

This is a very serious situation because I need to refer back to my calendar and look at past appointments. I checked my sync settings and I have it set that my phone overrides my Outlook calendar and on my phone I have it set to save appointments forever.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHad my torch for a week now, all works great except I get no reminders at all from the calendar for appointments, no pop up on screen, no tones or vibrates. If I set a reminder alarm then that works, so does the alarm clock in the morning and all of my message alerts, phone, text, e-mail etc, but nothing from the calendar appointments.

When I send an e-mail from the Torch, it arrives at the PC from My Name. When I open the message it shows My Name <myname@mydomain>.
When I invite someone to an appointment from the Torch, it arrives only as myname@mydomain.
Is there a setting on the Torch that will allow both direct e-mails and invitations to be sent with the same information, so the recipient will see My Name?
When I change time zones, my appointments change time as well.How do I stop this but be able to change time zones when I am flying interstate. I would have my appointments on the correct time wherever I am.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNumerous problems with the way the calendar app saves old appointments. I've got a BB Torch 9800 running version 6.0 bundle 695 interfaced with a Mac. When I try to set the options for the calendar to keep appointments forever, it keeps reverting back to saving them for 60 days deleting the older appointments. It is not saving my options correctly. I've tried a battery reset, but no change. Does anyone have some insight into this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Nexus 6 worked for months, but now when the phone is on the screen stays black.
When you start the Nexus 6, the Google logo shows up, the starting animation plays, then the Android text shows.. then the screen goes black. If I hold the power key the "Power Off" dialog opens, I can also take screenshots (of a completely black screen), otherwise nothing shows on the screen.
I took the phone into T-Mobile and they sent me a replacement. After walking through this new phone's setup (adding my Google account, setting up a lock screen) the phone screen went black! Just like the old phone.
Wiping the cache didn't fix anything, but if I factory reset the phone (on either phone), the screen works as it should and goes through the setup process before the screen blacks out again.
I tried not setting a lock screen and the phone still blacks out so I don't think it's lock screen related. I'm starting over again and trying to set the phone up without importing any of my Apps to see if that will change anything.
I've always done system updates when prompted and the phone is not rooted or have custom settings or anything like that.
I just wiped and started over without installing the list of old apps and it still does has this same issue..
My phone is going crazy, its shows a transparent copy of my top screen on the bottom of the screen, what can cause this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my Triumph since last August. Actually it's my 4th one. Starting just a few minutes ago, it started shutting down, rebooting, and before it's completely up (lock screen is shown, but 3G service indicator isn't shown yet or my weather bug notification at the top of the screen) it shuts down again and goes thru another boot cycle. It doesn't stay booted long enough to do anything, including a factory reset. Because of it's age, I doubt there is any warranty is there?

View 11 Replies View RelatedRight from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off.Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there.I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.Any help greatfully received
