Mar 28, 2014My phone is going crazy, its shows a transparent copy of my top screen on the bottom of the screen, what can cause this?

Dec 9, 2013I used SmartCam, selected the best picture and saved it to the phone. Then I connected the phone to my Windows 7 PC via USB and, using Windows Explorer, tried copying the saved result from the phone and pasting it into a folder on my PC's hard drive; but when I tried pasting it, I got an "Access denied" message.
I also noticed that when -- again via Windows Explorer -- I tried to open this saved photo from my phone's photo folder, by double-clicking it to launch Window's photo viewer, I got a message saying I could not as I "don't have the necessary permissions to access the file location." Excuse me, it's my phone and my photo, whose permission do I need?
I can email myself the saved photo, but it is low resolution, with a file size of around 400kb, compared to original's apx. 5 mb. All the camera hardware and software wizardry in the world is useless if the photos are held captive on the phone!
Lumia 1020 :: Can't Copy Large Files From Phone To PC
Mar 22, 2014Little JPEGs copy OK, but anything more than a few MB either gives an error "a device attached to the system is not functioning" or Windows Explorer hangs (badly).
Selecting all files in the Pictures folder also causes both errors. It's a fresh install of Windows 7 with all the recommended updates.

Nov 25, 2014I want report a bad feature of our Sony with on-screen touch keys.
The navigation bar that contains the soft touch keys remains black in all apps (exception Album and olther Sony's apps). This feels very bad to see, so there is a solution, a mod, an app WITHOUT ROOT to have a transparent or semi-transparent navigation bar?
For example, in Chrome, will be perfect to have transparent navigation bar to see full web full page!
Lumia 1520 :: Single Row Of White Pixels At Bottom Of Screen?
Jan 11, 2014In some apps (and only some), at the very bottom of the screen there is a single row of white pixels that extends across the entire width of the screen, and is obviously most noticable in apps that have dark background colours. Just some things I've noticed:
- It isn't visible when on the lockscreen, or basically anywhere in the core OS
- It doesn't matter whether I'm using the light or dark theme, the problem remains the same
- It seems a lot less likely to happen/show when I'm in an app that uses an app bar at the bottom
- I think it's related to the display/positioning of app backgrounds, as I haven't seen this happen in apps that don't have backgrounds.

Jan 4, 2014my screen froze on my 1020. None of the "screen" buttons would work but the physical side buttons would. I rebooted a couple of times (depressing the power and volume down). It worked once but then froze up again. Taking out the sim and putting it back in seems to reboot the phone, which works, sometimes, but freezes up again as soon as the screen lock is activated.

Jan 14, 2015My phone's screen turns black a number of times now. Navigation keys are working and lights up. I can still hear the alarms and notification sounds. It sometimes takes more than 24 hours to resume to its normal function itself. Soft reset (vol down + power button) is a hit and miss and most of the time I'm getting the screen below.
I tried to connect the phone to a PC but it did not recognized because the phone is locked. I don't know if there's another way to unlock it.

Oct 14, 2014My phone has been acting up lately with the screen blinking between bright and normal and now it's stuck on bright with washed out colors. Its like a gradient from left to right, if you open the keyboard it's very apparent its like a gradient from white to gray. Looks like the left hand side of the screen is going overdrive and going as bright as it can almost?

I charge the phone at night, and I use it for an alarm, so I charge it in the bedroom. I'd like it to go dark after a few minutes, so that it isn't lighting up my bedroom all night.
