BB Tour :: Calendar Entries Shown On Wrong Day?
Nov 10, 2010I've noticed that a lot of my calendar entries, particularly recurring, all-day events show up on the wrong day in my calendar. I have the same problem whether I choose the agenda, daily, weekly or monthly view. Typically these events show up on two days, one entry on the correct date, and another on the following date, which makes me think it has to do with time zones or daylight savings time. I don't recall when the error first started. When I try to open the incorrect entry, I don't have any options to edit the event. When I open the correct entry, I can open the series or just the occurrence, but I can't edit it either. I am syncing my device with Lotus Notes 8.5.1 FP3 over the air using a BES. I've checked the calendar entry in Lotus Notes and it looks correct.

Mar 15, 2010I've just bought a Nokia 5800 handset recently. It seems to me that even though I actually saved a contact's number in my phone, when he messages me the phone inbox only shows his number and not his name, even though I already saved his number under my phonebook.
Is there anyway to solve this such that it'll display his name instead? Its kind of pointless if I have to keep checking back to my phonebook to see who has messaged me, since I don't remember my friend's numbers and stuff.
On a note I saved all of my friend's number without the region number. That is as im living in Singapore, a contact's number would be saved as follows: 91234567 without the region code of +65. Thing is in my inbox all the phone number displayed shows the region code of +65 along with the number, but seriously even my super old phone can recognise that both 91234567 and +6591234567 are of the same person and displays the name correctly in the inbox.

Aug 21, 2014My Iphone4 email inbox is showing there is over 1,000 messages in the inbox but in fact there is only a few and email on my pc shows correctly. I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.
I use Thunderbird.

Reading the manual and experimenting with different options has revealed nothing.All incoming emails end up in the Inbox (of course) and there is nowhere that these can be stored. Several folders would be useful to be able to categorise different emails, otherwise you just get a huge list of them all mixed up in the Inbox (which can be set to limit them to either 50 or 100).

Mar 18, 2010I don't know why this happened, I woke up this morning and it was like this. Whenever I try to open my email inbox the SMS inbox opens. Even if I go directly to my individual accounts on my BB (yahoo and gmail) and try to open them directly, it still opens my SMS inbox. I can't figure this out and can't find an answer. I have to check all my emails my going onto a computer. I still get notifications of new emails on my BB, but can't view them because only the SMS inbox will come up. I need my email inbox to show when I click on my email inbox.

Apr 9, 2010I am having an Empty message (not Blank Message). It takes up the space of a text message but the recipient name or the message is not shown in inbox. When I tried to Open the message it said 'Unsupported message type'. This message is not even getting deleted saying 'Error occurred. Deletion not completed'. I got this problem already Twice. What happened further is, After sometimes more of such msgs starts to appear, and then suddenly all saved messages will get deleted.
Then all the applications (including basic applications like calculator) will get deleted. I gave to Nokia service centre. They just said it could be virus so they got my mobile, gave back (installing the software again I guess, I don't think they Cleaned Virus as told by them) and told me to use memory card after scanning. I scanned the card with the top antivirus - with up to date virus database. So I am very much sure there is no virus in my Memory card.
