When i send a new email and choose a receiver, i see a huge list of email contacts(that i have not in my normal contacts app). I know all these emails because in the past i had sycronized hotmail contacts with iphone contacts but i deleted all of them because they were too many..So i dont have the email contacts anymore in my contacts app but i see all of them at the receiver menu..

Once I updated my IPhone to the latest OS 5.1, I noticed the keyboard shown at search Page is now shown at all pages which means I can't use the application in the lower half of the page. I have to lock and unlock to remove the keyboard!!!

So when I click my contacts icon on the iphone a bunch of my contacts are missing. If I use the search function, the page to the left of the home screen, i can find contacts I've added and ones I'm looking for, but they dont show up under contacts. There're obviously on the phone somewhere, but I dont know where. O and if I add a contact via the contact icon, push the little green plus sign, and add it manually it will show up under the contacts, but if i try and save something from resent calls or maps and say add to contacts, new contact, it doesn't show up. Also if I add a contact to outlook and sink, it wont show up either. Thanks and hopefully this is pretty clear.

This is random as I just started to encounter this problem.
At first when I would add a new contact it would save to my contacts list & being that I have my google account connected it would save it there as well.
when i enter the images and videos section just the default nokia images are shown my photos from the memory card are not shown. why? i few days ago it worked. how can i fix this problem
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an N97 mini and I have about 40 contacts in my phonebook.I have added the number of a friend to my contacts but, when he texts or calls me, his name doesnt show on my phone.It just shows his normal phone number +4477****.I am 100% certain that the number added is correct and is shown in my contacts. I have tried deleting and adding it again, but it still doesnt show his name.I have even tried changing the name and phone number of another existing contact to his name number, but it still doesnt show his name when he calls or texts.All my other contacts work fine.Anybody know what is happening here?Am I missing something really obvious?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI find that I call and message the same people more regularly than the rest of my phonebook. As such, I believe it would be much easier to have a "Favorites" or a "Recently Used" section at the start of my phonebook to quickly find my most commonly contacted friends.
The "Recently Used" section could be similar to how Microsoft Word works where it saves your last 10 used fonts at the top of the menu when you click to change the font of your text. How do I go about suggesting this to Nokia to update their software?
My new xperia x10 is not sending emails from my private email account? I have a business e-mail address. What settings do I need to be on for out going? It receives but does not send! I have managed to sort hotmail send and receive but not others. There is not error messeges but it does not send emails.

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy boss is having trouble recieving e-mails on his BlackBerry Bold 9000. He has had the phone for about eight months and has experienced no problems until last Friday. He stopped recieving mail on his phone out of the blue, so he took the unit to his local AT&T store and they said it was a problem with the domain.
We reset his e-mail password and he is now recieving the following error message when we try to register the account with BlackBerry Internet Service using the AT&T setup page:
Email address domain not found: I have done some research on the web and these forums trying to find people experiencing the same problem. Based on that, I've done an MX lookup, a DNS lookup, etc. and encountered no problems with the domain. It is an established address that has been in use for more than two years. The domain is [URL]
I have tried entering the specific address of the mail server under Advanced Setup, but to no avail. We have three other employees currently recieving mail on their BlackBerry devices using the same domain and nobody else is experiencing problems.
I also tried creating a new e-mail address on the domain and synching that one, but I just recieved the same message.
I am unable to add an e-mail account to my bis account.
The error message I get back is
The email address domain cannot be found. I setup the mail host myself and I can send/receive e-mail just fine in outlook. The domain is tmconcepts.ca . I think it might be a dns issue but I am not sure.

Lets say if I have a new email i would like to use and would like to delete the old one off my iphone but it has all of my contacts on it, how do i transfer those contacts, notes, and calendars, to the new email account?
keep in mind that if i delete the email acount with the contacts, the contacts will no longer be on my phone as well as the notes. is there a way for me to transfer the contacts from the old email account to the new one so i can remove the old email account? too much spam.
