I am a new BlackBerry user. I am using Outlook for my corporate email with BlackBerry Enterprise server, and Im also using a personal hotmail account.On my display I have two folders, my hotmail icon and Messages icon. I cannot found the Desktop folder icon, and I need to have my emails separated. I can only see my corporate emails on the Message folder, joint with personal email Blackberry Messages, WhatsApp messages
View 1 RepliesI just upgraded my 8520 to v5.0.0.681 then when I checked for options > applications I see app world, app center and BB maps but when I checked it on folders (downloads, applications, games, etc.). I can't find any of them. I did reboot the phone, pulled the battery reinstalled the OS but then still having the same problem.

I am still recieving work emails in my "messages" folder, but the email folder is nowhere to be found. My company has reactivated my account about 5 times and I have taken out my battery at least 10 and it still does not show up.

I have Media Sync loaded fine. It reads my Windows Media Library just fine. When it loads the playlists/music for selection to sync, most show up as "Supported" in the Status column. However there are many that show up as "Not Found". Is there a file size limit or file name/path size limit that could be causing this? These are not DRM files. It happens to music that I have burnt from CDs and a given CD, for example, might have 13 songs on it and have only 4 of them show up as "Not Found". I'm not seeing anything like this in the forums.
Updated my Blackberry software to v5.0 on my Tour 9630 and now I'm missing my AOL email folder. Now receiving my emails in my messages folder. Does anyone have a solution to getting my AOL email folder back and getting my emails sent there as well. I've tried a couple things with no luck!

When I recieve an email it only shows up on the "messages" folder.My previous BB would show the new mail indicator in both "Messages" folder and the specific email folder it belonged in. I was able to sync fine before I formatted my hard drive. Now, when I try to configure my sync settings, the, "Folder is missing..." error pops up when I click Finish (the last step). This happens for every setting I try, calendar, address book, memos, tasks.It seems that this is quite the problem, many threads with this question, but no clear answers. Can anyone walk me/us through a solution for this problem?
My yahoo email was hacked into as I opened an email on my Blackberry 8530 curve. They were able to change my email password, steal and delete my contact list, send all my contacts and email saying I was in London and desperately needed $1500 and set up an alternate email in Yahoo so that if some questioned the email requesting money they would reply it was really me. Is there anything I can use to protect the Blackberry phone from this type of thing from happening.

It occurs when I try to reply or send a new message from my "Desktop" email. I have done everything that has been recommended--including a complete wipe and reload of Enterprise Activation. View 12 Replies View RelatedMy battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by:
1. Clicking the blackberry button
2. Clicking messages
3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder"
There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc.
There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?
I am trying to sync my BB with my desktop software. I was advised the only way i could get music on my BB was to take the memory card out the phone use an adapter to put music on then put the memory card back in BB.
Surely when i connect my BB to my laptop with the desktop software on it, i should be able to see the music and pictures that are on my phone, or should i not??
I have gone into the options menu on the screen and had a look at my memory, and it is telling me "Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is properly inserted, formatted and not corrupted".
I have also made sure that Mass Storage support is on, along with Media Card Support, but i still cant see anything.
Is there any way to delete all the old deleted emails from the trash folder all at once or can it only be done one at a time?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy boss is having trouble recieving e-mails on his BlackBerry Bold 9000. He has had the phone for about eight months and has experienced no problems until last Friday. He stopped recieving mail on his phone out of the blue, so he took the unit to his local AT&T store and they said it was a problem with the domain.
We reset his e-mail password and he is now recieving the following error message when we try to register the account with BlackBerry Internet Service using the AT&T setup page:
Email address domain not found: I have done some research on the web and these forums trying to find people experiencing the same problem. Based on that, I've done an MX lookup, a DNS lookup, etc. and encountered no problems with the domain. It is an established address that has been in use for more than two years. The domain is [URL]
I have tried entering the specific address of the mail server under Advanced Setup, but to no avail. We have three other employees currently recieving mail on their BlackBerry devices using the same domain and nobody else is experiencing problems.
I also tried creating a new e-mail address on the domain and synching that one, but I just recieved the same message.
I am unable to add an e-mail account to my bis account.
The error message I get back is
The email address domain cannot be found. I setup the mail host myself and I can send/receive e-mail just fine in outlook. The domain is tmconcepts.ca . I think it might be a dns issue but I am not sure.
When i send a new email and choose a receiver, i see a huge list of email contacts(that i have not in my normal contacts app). I know all these emails because in the past i had sycronized hotmail contacts with iphone contacts but i deleted all of them because they were too many..So i dont have the email contacts anymore in my contacts app but i see all of them at the receiver menu..

Needed information varies, depending on email service provider. Answer the following queries. So I press "start" then I get this allow connection message come up which I agree to also, then I get the Connection to server, then a message comes up saying Installation package not found. Check that memory card is inserted. This phone is 2nd hand and from e-bay. All I want to do is setup my own email.
