My Blackberry 8530 has been giving me this error message for 24 hours: "Desktop Email program unable to submit message." It occurs when I try to reply or send a new message from my "Desktop" email. I have done everything that has been recommended--including a complete wipe and reload of Enterprise Activation. The other email program (non exchange/enterprise) on my blackberry works perfectly fine.

They were able to change my email password, steal and delete my contact list, send all my contacts and email saying I was in London and desperately needed $1500 and set up an alternate email in Yahoo so that if some questioned the email requesting money they would reply it was really me. Is there anything I can use to protect the Blackberry phone from this type of thing from happening.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI got the Curve 8530 on Verizon... I receive a text message from a person, go to the sms icon on my home screen and click on it. My bb shows the new message with the persons's name and a preview of the text. I click on it to view it but it doesnt open the conversation. Then I'll try an older conversation and it works fine. But what is strange is that it will only continue to happen to that one contact. So ill receive a new text from someone else and i can read it with no problems.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530.I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email.However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured".That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry.I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up.But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done. I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone.I am a bit of an electrical gimp.

Earlier on the same device i was able to see all the email which i have got thorughout year. Phone has 97814897 Bytes memory Free.

When i get a new email from yahoo, and check it on the BB and after I read the email and delete it, it will not show up on my yahoo email when I check on my laptop. But when i check my email for yahoo on my laptop, it still shows up on my BB and doesnt delete unless I personally delete it. Is there an option that when i check my email from my laptop that it will delete on my BB??

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo, I had to replace my BB8530 with a like-new replacement after my LCD screen adhesive had dried, but now I'm stuck.See, I don't know how they did it, but when I first got my BB the salesman was able to easily sync my school email address to it, which is on a gmail server.(Kent State, for anyone interested/has it themselves)
Could someone give me a walkthrough of how to do this on my own?(and yes, I looked at other threads before posting.)Also, I have Verizon's Backup Assistant, but it wont let me send all my contacts to this new phone. Anyone else have that problem/know how to fix it?
Been updating the OS on my 8530 using the pc Desktop Manager software v5.0.1 and the usb connector to the phone. I started at 11:00am this morning. It is now almost 3:00pm.It is still showing 346 of the 528 modules in the Download device Software part of the process. At this point it's a fail... But it says Do not disconnect your device... or else. What now? Very disappointing.

View 8 Replies View RelatedThe Last sync and Last backup dates don't update when I connect to BB desktop and do auto sync and backup. This causes backup to run every time I connect instead of weekly like I have it setup. If I do a manual sync the date updates but if I do a manual backup the date stays unchanged. I'm running desktop 6.0.0.43 and OS 5.0.0.886. Does anyone know how to cure this problem?

I had an important app. (Memos by bluemarblesoftware.com) that I accidentally deleted. It of course had many memos, some with quite a lot of information. I did sync my phone on a regular basis and I think the memos should be on the desktop computer. I tried to do a restore function but I got a message saying there was not enough room on the iPhone. How much room is needed?

my wifes 8530 we just did the BB App World upgrade. Now we can't see or find the icon to open and use it. After being on the phone with Verizon for a while they contacted BB and this is what I was told to do.
-Download BB desktop manager on my computer
-Backup all data from the phone
-Do a hard reset which will delete all data from the phone
-Reinstall all data from desktop manager back to phone and then the icon should appear
I am trying to find out why the Desktop Software is recommending me to update my OS7 version, and also to downgrade my BBM software. Whenever I go to Device->Software Updates on the phone, it says my Blackberry is upto date (7.0 Bundle 1315). And I already installed the new BBM update a few weeks ago(version 6.0.0.129). Note my carrier is T-Mobile. Can anyone inform me why I get update recommendations on the Desktop program and not the phone?

Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
I have been trying to access Yahoo email thru the Browser on the Lumia 800 phone. Every time I access the [URL] website and enter my login name and password and submit, I repeatedly get the same page again and again which asks me to verify my password. There seems to be a software error in the Lumia 800. I have contacted the Nokia helpline which was unhelpful as usual. This time, they informed me that this error IS possible while accessing Yahoo email thru the browser and that no solution is possible. The only suggestion they had was to use the synchronization method to access the Yahoo mailbox - but this solution is not feasible for either accessing the older emails and or for sending file attachments.

This can happen, for example, when I unlock my phone, or connect to a power supply. There is no way of removing the message apart from disconnecting the battery, and then rebooting. My phone froze up for a long time. I took the battery out, waited a minute and put it back. Now my phone will not reboot completely. After the Sprint screen, an 'uncaught inception' message pops up, then it proceeds to verify security software.....the screen turns bright white and a tiny message in the middle of the screen says: app error 523 with the word 'reset' highlighted under it.....I can't do anything but click on it, for it to shut down and go through the whole exact thing all over again..

The priority problem is mentioned first below.I've just encountered this error message, "For help resolving this issue, refer to KB19454 in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Knowledge Base" when attempting to sync my Curve 8320. I use a Mac, and I haven't run into any difficulties syncing since downloading the newer version of the Desktop Manager for Mac in Dec/Jan. I haven't been able to download the latest update though. I did see an early post by someone with the same difficulty, but I was unclear of the question posed, and thus I am hopeful for potential suggestions for resolution.The additional problem I've recently experienced is that I can't compose an SMS/MMS message. I can only reply to someone's message. When I try to simply send one, the screen defaults back to the list of messages. Please Note: I do not have wireless on my phone.
