Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Way Of Expanding The Number Of Email Folders From "Inbox, Outbox, Sent & Drafts"?

Does anyone know if there is a way of expanding the number of email folders from "Inbox, Outbox, Sent & Drafts"? Reading the manual and experimenting with different options has revealed nothing.All incoming emails end up in the Inbox (of course) and there is nowhere that these can be stored. Several folders would be useful to be able to categorise different emails, otherwise you just get a huge list of them all mixed up in the Inbox (which can be set to limit them to either 50 or 100).

How do I see my sent box, inbox etc. All I see on the home screen is in the top left corner an envelope I can press to compile a text message. Where is my inbox, sent box etc? Also how do I delete a draft message? Can't see a delete option anywhere?

I'm having trouble with the standard email application. When I get new emails into my account, the number of unread emails appears next to the email address (account name). I expand folders to see where the emails are, but the unread numbers don't appear next to the folders. For example, the account may say it has 4 unread emails, but when I expand to the folders view, there are no indicators. This is a Gmail IMAP account. When I use the GMail app, the number of unread emails shows correctly in the folders(labels) view.
How do I get the unread emails to show correctly in the folders view of the standard email app?

i have recently changed from an iphone to the bold 9900 - setup email accounts and sync'd with outlook on my laptop no problems.BUT i cannot get it to sync my inbox subfolders.i have tried the mapping option in the advance options for sync but it just will not allow it ??am i missing something? does it have to be on an exchange server ?

I have been given a lumia 950 at work but used to have an android based phone. I have configured my work email and can see the inbox and all other folders as I should.
The problem then starts here, on my desktop outlook I have email rules that move new emails from certain people into relevant folders for them but on the lumia I only see a notification saying there is new email in the inbox and not for the other folders I have. On the android I used to have this would show all new emails on one screen even if they were in another folder.
How can I be notified of new emails arriving into other folders within my mailbox or have them showing up on the first screen like the android or otherwise the phone will be unusable as I will miss too many important work emails because they don't show me notifications that they have arrived.

Just updated Blackberry Desktop Software to v 6.1.0.35.I was surprised to see that the software backed up then restored all the data on my Bold 9780. However, on restore, it did NOT restore my separate e-mail inbox folders - instead, it shoved all the e-mail into a single inbox.I have 7 e-mail accounts, and I need to be able to see incoming e-mail going directly to the relevant inbox rather than a single inbox. How do I restore my old multiple inbox setup?

My SMS and MMS icon shows received messages but not sent messages. I can choose the sent messages folder, but I want to see inbox and outbox messages together. I had the same problem with the Curve and I somehow fixed it, but I can't remember how. I do not have the sent messages hidden either.

I've just bought a Nokia 5800 handset recently. It seems to me that even though I actually saved a contact's number in my phone, when he messages me the phone inbox only shows his number and not his name, even though I already saved his number under my phonebook.
Is there anyway to solve this such that it'll display his name instead? Its kind of pointless if I have to keep checking back to my phonebook to see who has messaged me, since I don't remember my friend's numbers and stuff.
On a note I saved all of my friend's number without the region number. That is as im living in Singapore, a contact's number would be saved as follows: 91234567 without the region code of +65. Thing is in my inbox all the phone number displayed shows the region code of +65 along with the number, but seriously even my super old phone can recognise that both 91234567 and +6591234567 are of the same person and displays the name correctly in the inbox.

Whenever there are multiple notification from same application in the notification tray and I try to expand it to see details, it expands and instantly shrinks back. Though this doesn't always happen (frequencey is 60% of the times this issue occurs), but it is really annoying.

I have Sony Ericsson xperia neo V and I want to increase the external memory of my phone from 2gb to 8gb. Basically, if I begin to type an e-mail message (doesn't matter what e-mail account I use) and stop typing it (where it makes a draft), if I cancel/delete that draft and never send the e-mail, the draft still exists on my phone somewhere I can't see. How do I know this? Because, just about every day, I'll get some notifications in the notification center re: those messages being unread/unsent. Clicking on those messages will pull me into the draft I was working on, but tapping "cancel" again (instead of send) on the draft will no longer prompt the dialog confirming I want to cancel and delete the draft. It just exits the message. Modifying the draft will cause the prompt to show up again, but clicking delete does not get rid of the draft on my phone. Sending the draft does not get rid of it either. It will reappear later. I have 3 e-mail accounts on my phone and it happens with ALL of them. One of them is POP and the other 2 are Exchange based. I reproduced it again yesterday with my Comcast POP account, this time actually saving the draft and deleting it for kicks.
1. Started typing an e-mail message.
2. Decided to cancel the e-mail message.
3. Prompt occured to delete or save the draft.
4. Selected delete.
5. Draft appears to be GONE.
6. Sometime later, in the notification center, my draft will show up there. I can tap the draft in the notification center to be taken back to it.
7. Tapping cancel at this point will just exit out of the draft. Sending the draft will send the e-mail message but it will appear in the notification center later. Typing more text on the draft, hitting cancel and delete will still cause the draft to show back up later in the notification center.
I've also tried a varation of saving the first draft, going into the drafts folder under Mail and deleting the draft there... but it comes back.ay try a erase all content and settings then reconfigure everything. is these drafts are searchable in the spotlight but you can't find them normally in the Mail app.
Edit: Forgot to add that I also deleted all the e-mail accounts and readded them too.

Am back again with another query. I'd like to create new sub-folders inside the inbox (of text messgaes/emails/bbm), so as to file my messages/emails in these sub folders. Unfortunately (for me!) I'm unable to create these sub-folders, in the Inbox of my BB Bold 9780. Is there anyway I can do this? Or are you planning to upgrade the OS 6 to incorporate this?

I have my work email self sort using rules so that messages from certain people (ie the Boss) go into their own inbox, so they don't get missed. However, only the mail from the main mailbox is getting pushed to my iPhone, not the mail from the Boss folder.
I've gone into the Exchange account settings on my iPhone and I have set the inbox, plus 4 other folders to be pushed. However, only the inbox is getting pushed. FWIW, here's the rule: After the message arrives, move messages from BOSS to BOSS folder.

Periodically I find my outgong emails (via Outlook) being dumped in the Drafts folder when I send them. Some time later (might be a few seconds, sometimes longer) I find a message in the in-box which says something like 'Windows Phone is unable to send your mail'. I assume this happens in poor signal conditions altough it does happen when the phone appears to be reporting a strong signal. Once in the drafts folder, I don't seem to be able to send the mail message from there - I have to move it before I can send it.
I can't find any documentation of theis behaviour so I don't know if it's supposed to do this; the circumstances under which it happens; and whether I can configure it to do something else
This is irritating on so many levels. Why doesn't the phone just leave the message in the outbox until it has connectiviity? If it's not going to send the message, why not tell me then? As it is, I often miss the failure message so I don't realise the message has not been sent until a long time after. And why can't I simply click on the message in draft and select 'send' from there?

I have an iPhone 4s and I sync my email from an exchange server. I have mail that is delivered to sub-folders in my inbox but these emails do not appear on my phone but I can browse to the folders and see the emails. Is there for these emails to appear in inbox on the phone.

I'd like to organize my outlook at work into folders and yet would like to see the emails in my inbox on the iphone. is it possible?Â
I hate thought that i'll have to go into each one of those folders and look for new emails rather than having the new ones displayed in my inbox and of course in "all inboxes"...

I don't know why this happened, I woke up this morning and it was like this. Whenever I try to open my email inbox the SMS inbox opens. Even if I go directly to my individual accounts on my BB (yahoo and gmail) and try to open them directly, it still opens my SMS inbox. I can't figure this out and can't find an answer. I have to check all my emails my going onto a computer. I still get notifications of new emails on my BB, but can't view them because only the SMS inbox will come up. I need my email inbox to show when I click on my email inbox.

My Iphone4 email inbox is showing there is over 1,000 messages in the inbox but in fact there is only a few and email on my pc shows correctly. I cannot get the phone to show me the correct number of messages. Apart from this problem all email related things are working correctly.
I use Thunderbird.
