I'm trying to add another custom label for my iPhone contacts but it's ignoring me! I do already have a lot. Is there a limit to how many can create? Also, they're not all appearing in alphabetical order any more...
I have a Torch on which I currently have 4 seperate e mail accounts. I travel fairly frequently between 3 countries each of which I have a local sim card for and a BB data plan. Normally when I travel and switch the sin card I simply enter setup select e mail and enter the appropriate password for each of my accounts then hit "activate" This has always worked perfectly. I have just changed my sim and once again all my e mail accounts are listed. However after entering all the passwords the activate button will not repsond and indeed is shaded as if it is unavailable. If I select verify for any of the passwords I get a message "Sorry, unable to continue your session. log in again" I have rebooted the phone numerous times with no difference.
I have sms messages going back years. It appears that some contacts are cut off after a certain number of messages. Other less frequently texted contact go back many years. I looked in settings and can't find a default, also I tried hanghouts and they're not there.
People calling me have sometimes complained that if I am not available to take the call, they have to wait for many rings - and hence a long time - before the messaging system kicks in. And sometimes, callers give up, assuming I don't have voicemail. I know you can limit the number of rings on other phones, but I haven't find out how to do it with my iPhone. I'm sure it's easy though!!
My father is a business man and he needs more than thousand numbers may be to save on his mobile phone. So may i know which Nokia set is capable of saving maximum number of contacts?
My business operates through my email just like most people and I am no longer receiving push notifications through my regular Android email, I am receiving the following message "Maximum number of messages (5000) shown".
I am trying for some time now to set up my email account on my new Nokia E72 without any success. I hit the email setup button, chose the right access point provided by the mobile company and after I enter the email and password the message "maximum number connections in use. Close an active connection first" appears. Here I only have two options OK or CANCEL. Hitting CANCEL it just gets out of what I was doing. Hitting OK it only gives me the acces point which I am using without any other option so I have to close it. Could anyone help me with this problem please?
Yesterday I bought a brand new Xperia X10 mobile with android 2.1 packed on November 2010 at a SONY Gallery in chennai. After unboxing the mobile, and initial settings, I could not either make a call or receive a call. The showroom guys made a call to Sony support and said, I need to wait for two days as the IMEI numbers are not unlocked yet. I was terribly disappointed since I cannot use the mobile for another two days. But today I just wanted to make a try and inserted my SIM and checked if i can make a call. To my surprise the call was working. I was happy that the phone is activated.
But after 45 minutes, now again I am facing the same problem. The calls are not working. Neither I am able to receive the call nor I can make a call.
Good day. I'm a very happy Blackberry customer but I have a bit of a problem though. Facebook is a everyday encounter and I use it mostly for business purposes. My Blackberry encounters an error every time i access Facebook mobile as I don't use the app. The error reads: "Exceeded maximum redirect attempts to server m.facebook.com." It's funny though as it only does this with a particular facebook account. I Restored the device to factory settings and most common troubleshooting operations have been performed. I now don't know what to do now.
After transferring a number from a previous carrier to a new carrier, I can no longer receive iMessages from my telephone number. People can only iMessage me if they know my Apple ID. I've tried restoring the phone, but I'm always faced with 'error' in the iMessage settings window.
I have only one cell number that will show up in my text messaging with just the number not the name. I have deleted it and reentered it. It has a + in front of the number.
Whenever I try to send an iMessage from an iPad to a sertain iPhone 3Gs it wont let me click send, then when I click on the contact at the top a message pops up that says "(phone number)" not registered with iMessage".
My phone shows headphone is active and i can see the head phone symbole upper right corner of my phone. i am not using any headphone.i am not able to answer call, listen music.
I have multiple iphones and I touches and they are all sharing contacts and music with each other. I know there is a simple way to fix this but I cant figure it out. Must we all get separate iTunes accounts and icloud accounts?
I have an iCloud account and find my phone set up on my iPad for my phone and my iPad, my husband has an iphone 4 that we want to set up for find my phone app. How do I set his account up on my iPad. We don't have a Mac computer or any other Mac devices. Can this be done?

I sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?
