I have some MP3s that I want to use as ringtones. However, I don't want them to show in my Music Library (if I'm listening on shuffle I don't want these sound clips to play in the middle of them). I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how this might be achieved? I've tried all different directories and transfer methods but can't work it out..

Believe me that although there are many dual sim mobiles in the market yet I keep wait for the nokia's dual sim mobile. I bought it and bring this phone to my home. First its display quality disappointed me, as in the same range other brand have good quality display, yet I was ready to compramise with display quality. But I totally frustrated when I am unable to scroll the list item using my finger on touch screen. The scroller won't work. I restarted the mobile and even remove the battery and then I again restart my mobile after putting the battery again. I totally disappointend and curse myself on the decision of buying This nokia product.

Feb 22, 2012I am using Nokia C5-00 from last 1 year. In Music player, there is option to select the MP3 files by albums, genere, etc but not able to sotr it as saved in different folders. I have nearly 1000 MP3 songs in differetn folders. I want to select perticular folder MP3s to be played at a time. No every MP3 file is updated with album title. If I update Album title in file infor, on refreshing the list album title gets geleted again.

Aug 9, 2010I have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.

I have a folder called Music and within that I keep a load of folders with albums inside each. However for the albums that wont play, if I move individual songs outwith their album folder so that they just sit as loose files within the music directory then the music player recognises them.

May 18, 2015Using u/bittorrent the files download no problem and are playable if i click on them in the torrent app or in the file manager, but do not show up in the music app. I tried moving them around in file manager to no avail. I switched from utorrent to bit torrent, deleting all the files and torrent app which seemed to work, i was sure all the albums were still in the music app since ive been listening to music all day but now it appears that they are not present in the app. I have restarted but am leaning towards a factory reset. Also, music i downloaded as zip files are recognized after i extract them on the phone, idk if that means anything to yall.

LG :: Vx8560 Mp3s On Both Internal And External Memory?
Jan 13, 2010How can you put mp3s on both internal and external memory on the VX8560 (Chocolate 3)? I filled up a 8gb card, and everything works fine with no mp3s on internal memory. When I drop mp3s in the internal memory Mymusic folder using bitpim, the phone suddenly ignores all of the mp3s on the card, and only shows the ones in internal memory. I've had horrible luck with using the Vcast software, so I'm hoping that's not the answer. I also tried transfering from the card to internal mem using the phone, but during the transfer the phone said the songs had illegal titles (I'm guessing because I have very long file names - because I put artist, album, song all in the title). Then it showed that none of them transfered over. Anyhow - any help much appreciated.
This is my actually my second VX8560 - lost one a month ago on a mountain bike ride, and decided to just get the same phone instead of something different because this one is perfect for me (a lot to do with the phones small size).

May 3, 2012I syncing all my mp3s from my MacBook with my iPhone using iTunes (everything at the newest software version). When I delete songs on my iPhone, those songs are automatically restored with the next sync. So why is there such a function, when files are restored anyway?

Jan 12, 2010I've got a VX 9100, and I'm trying to transfer a bunch of mp3s to my phone via card. It is a new 4 gb card. I formatted it, and then I drag-and-dropped a bunch (just over 500) of mp3s onto the card. I put the card into the phone, and it finds many of the mp3s, but not all of them. Moreover, it seems to lose more and more of the mp3s the further into the album list it goes.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The files do appear to be on the memory card.Are there hard-wired limits to the number of songs on an album? The number of songs on a card?Also, there's not by any chance any third-party or replacement mp3 players for the VX9100 are there? I'd like to be able to resume playing where I was, and as best I can tell, this phone doesn't do that generally (though it may do it when you get interrupted by phone call).
