Apr 3, 2010I'm just using the Micro SD card (2gb) that came with my Curve 8530. And as I sync my playlists through iTunes and download apps, obviously it is beginning to get quite full, and I'm actually almost entirely out of space.
How do I transfer what is currently saved on this card and put it onto the new card so that I don't lose any info?
Also, these cards are soooo over priced at Best Buy and other brick and mortar stores.. so if I am in the market for a larger card (probably a 16gb one), where would you guys recommend picking one up at?

May 24, 2010I dropped my W395 in the bathroom so it got moist and started to malfunction so i took it to the repair shop, and it was repaired under warranty. It was reprogrammed and the flex was changed. So before it got repaired, I'm am sure that my cell was only able to download 1,040 MB max. So i cant download mp3s with better bit rate. But after it got repaired, (the firmware was changed from R1DA015 to R1FB001) I tried to download a 3 MB mp3, expecting that at 1.040 MB it will stop downloading and say, 'page too large to be loaded. Choose another link'. But lo and behold, it didn't stop and now i can download without any size restrictions. I was pleasantly surprised at the improvement so i just wanna ask you guys if its normal for that to happen when you update your firmware? Cos I'm assuming that updates don't affect the RAM of your phone, it only fixes the bugs. Or maybe the technician replaced some hardware inside the phone?

Aug 21, 2010I recently received a message telling me that an update was available for App World. I downloaded the update, installed it and rebooted. Now I am unable to download apps. When I hit the download button it takes me to the sign in for BlackBerry ID, then to terms and conditions and then to my ID settings! The only way I can get off this screen is to press Discard, which takes me back to where I started! I just keep going round in circles.

Sep 20, 2010I'm getting slightly frustrated at my Curve 8520's complete inability to download any apps ?I go into the App world, select the app I want and click "download". It then asks me to enter in my blackberry ID which I do, it then takes me to my information [such as email, username] and gives me options to change my password and recovery question but nothing else. I can't go forward and if I go back I just start again with the download screen and go around in circles!I've uninstalled and reinstalled app world, I've updated the OS, I've tried sending the link from my laptop to the BB but nothing works and I'm getting a tad cranky.
