cannot download app's, when you enter the selection you choose an app it takes me into put in my user name and password, then takes me to accept terms and conditions, I accept and nothing happens..
my blackberry curve 8520 won't let me download blackberry app world, i go on the website on my smartphone, click download now it then transfers me to another screen where i select my language and press next, it then comes up with a screen saying sorry the requested item could not be loaded!i have tried re booting my phone and deleting blackberry app world of my phone to re-install it,
I have recently just got a new blackberry curve 8520 its a replacement phone because my other one broke so I know how they work. But this one wont let me download anything from blackberry app world ive tried to update my BBM several times!!, i have deleted and redownloaded Blackberry app world serveral times but nothing and I have also took the battery out and left it for over a minute but that didnt work either.
I have just updated the software on my curve 8520 to OS 5 and app world needs to be updated, however the update says it cannot be completed and when I try to download it via my blackberry browser it says sorry error once I get to the point of selecting my language. Appworld worked fine when I had my old software.

i have turned off the content protection, but still get this message to turn off the content protection whenever i try to download something from blackberry app world?

I have problems down loading the bb app world it had a error so I rebooted it and now I lost every thing including the bb app world now I am trying to download it again from computer an it comes up with :

Is there any way I can download it without using the bb data plan??
I got a 8520 the other day, I saw the app world an thought great Download this have all these beautiful Apps. When i come to download App world it says "It doesnt have the right software" I do not have a service plan, Is this to blame? I live in the UK, Im on Orange. My software is up to date?

I just switched from a Curve 8520 to a Curve 9300. My BlackBerry Messenger is working but the Browser & App World isn't. I'm not even receiving any emails. I wanted to ask if this problem is becuase I just switched my device.
Last night my Curve 8520 crashed on me while I was deleting some old applications and restarting. When trying to restart it was giving me an error. After a little research I found the steps to fix it by completely reinstalling the OS. After downloading the OS to my computer and getting it installed to the phone I found it was quite a bit different than the old OS, and I made sure to select the correct service provider. Anyways, needless to say, I lost all my apps and phone numbers, but the apps and email info were saved on my desktop software. I haven't been able to get the apps back onto the phone though and when trying to open App World on my phone it stays on the loading screen and goes no further. I have tried starting it over many times, pulled the battery and such but no luck.
i downloaded bb app world to my curve 8520 and since i do not have a bb data package, i now cannot access the app world or the internet at all. how do i delete/uninstall bb app world without being able to access the actual app world app or the internet?
i can't connect my bb 8520 to app world it says " APP WORLD WEB PLUG IN ERROR an error has occurred communicating with the Blackberry App world client. if you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again "and also, if i connect my phone to my pc, i can't get to see that folder which contains my media files. i can't see f my phone is connected or not...i tried rebooting my phone. hard reset. still it doesn't work?
I received an email with link to upgrade Blackberry App World and went to the App World site to download the new upgrade. I then received conflicting messages saying 1) that the download failed (error 907 wrong COD) and followed by 2) Download successful, hold down the esc key to return to home screen. Now the App World icon has completely disappeared and my previous version of App World has also gone.
My app world just doesn't want to work it does not give me a log in option it wants to log in by itself then it gives me this message "there is a problem with the current session. Please log in to continue. (Error Id: 30702)" I've logged in on my computer and it logs in there but not on the phone self I've tried everything.

A few weeks ago I tried to update my FaceBook from AppWorld. When I got to the download page I did everything (authenticating, etc.) as per usual.The download began but then I received a message saying "FaceBook not available from AppWorld". I figured it could be a site problem so I forgot about it but when I tried it again this week same message. I am completely unable to download any apps or updates from AppWorld (I can from third part sites but that's all).Have done the removing battery and reinstalling thing but...no dice. I have had my blackberry curve 8900 for about 4 months now and I still can not download the app world for it. I have tried and tried and keep getting the same message half way through the download saying "Download Failed. 907 Invalid COD". I contacted my service provider who said they had sorted and I was to turn my phone off for an hour and switch it back on and I should be able to download it. I done this and 3 hours later I am still getting the same message. I have even tried removing the battery and sim card but this does not work either.
Until recently all was well with my Curve 8520, but I now find that I can't download Apps. The following message appears on PC each time I try - 'Sync Issue : There is an issue connecting to Blackberry AppWorld. Please try again'. When I retry, same message comes up.
I have a wifi connection on bb curve 8520 but i can't connect with messenger or app-world it says that i'm not connected to network on the other side with the browser its ok?
I bought my BB curve 8520 and I've tried to install App World. It says that it is installed but when I go to my phone it's not there. I've looked everywhere and even used "show all". I've uninstalled and installed again, I tried to install from my blackberry instead of installing it from my computer and it doesn't appear. However, when I go to Options>advanced>applications it's there. What's wrong? I've been looking all around and I just don't get it.
