May 23, 2011I have a BB Curve 8520 for 2 weeks now and I still cannot download apps.At first, I had the 4.6 version and I couldn't find BB apps world on my BB so I uprgraded it (5v).Now I have BB apps world I have the possibility to download apps but it doesn't work! Every time I get the same message "Cannot download apps from Blackberry app world...".

Aug 7, 2011I know this topic is not really related but can I know why I can't download the bible apps from BB App World? I can enter the bible but there isn't any download button for me to press. I tried rebooting, taking out battery but it doesn't work. The last time I did was wiping my whole bb and now I can't download the bible apps.

When I try to download the update I get the following message "[program name] not available for download from app world". Has anyone else had this problem? If so how do/did you fix it. It just repeatedly says can't validate my ID even tho I redid it just to make sure. I use the same ID to sign in online on my pc and it recognizes me, so why won't it work on my handset?

May 6, 2011I have a Torch 9800. I've upgraded to the knew version of App World. Whenever I attempt to go into My World or My account I get a waiting popup that just hangs. If a view an app and attempt to download it, the same thing happens. I'm trying to download the new version of Blackberry Bridge so that I can have more fun with Playbook os 2.0.

I have received messages stating a couple apps including App World have updates ready to download.I tap on the link to update App World, Im greeted with the There is a newer version available 3.0.0.xx Tapping update gives me the green circle working prompt with a network activity icon, then disappears and nothing happens. Checking the App status, app world is listed as version 2.x.x, so clearly it is not updating. The device is logged into the BB account, and the terms and conditions has been accepted.I have tried downloading the app world update, and also facebook and BBM updates, on both my wireless carrier network and my home WiFi, with the same green working circle, and then nothing.

When I got to the download page I did everything (authenticating, etc.) as per usual.The download began but then I received a message saying "FaceBook not available from AppWorld". Jan 3, 2010I have had my blackberry curve 8900 for about 4 months now and I still can not download the app world for it. I have tried and tried and keep getting the same message half way through the download saying "Download Failed. 907 Invalid COD". I contacted my service provider who said they had sorted and I was to turn my phone off for an hour and switch it back on and I should be able to download it. I done this and 3 hours later I am still getting the same message. I have even tried removing the battery and sim card but this does not work either.

Aug 23, 2010when attempting to download blackberry app world from my device i get a message stating "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support blackberry app world".i go to "options" then "about" and see "v4.2.2.181".
any ideas on anything i can do to be able to download app world or at least the free apps? (i do not have access to a usb at this time, so any updates would have to be done through the device.)

Jul 16, 2012I have just updated the software on my curve 8520 to OS 5 and app world needs to be updated, however the update says it cannot be completed and when I try to download it via my blackberry browser it says sorry error once I get to the point of selecting my language. Appworld worked fine when I had my old software.
