I have paid apps that are indicating there are updates available in the App World store. When I try to download the update I get the following message "[program name] not available for download from app world". Has anyone else had this problem? If so how do/did you fix it. I'm on att v5.0.0.405.
View 4 RepliesI have a BB Curve 8520 for 2 weeks now and I still cannot download apps.At first, I had the 4.6 version and I couldn't find BB apps world on my BB so I uprgraded it (5v).Now I have BB apps world I have the possibility to download apps but it doesn't work! Every time I get the same message "Cannot download apps from Blackberry app world...".

It just repeatedly says can't validate my ID even tho I redid it just to make sure. I use the same ID to sign in online on my pc and it recognizes me, so why won't it work on my handset?

I have received messages stating a couple apps including App World have updates ready to download.I tap on the link to update App World, Im greeted with the There is a newer version available 3.0.0.xx Tapping update gives me the green circle working prompt with a network activity icon, then disappears and nothing happens. Checking the App status, app world is listed as version 2.x.x, so clearly it is not updating. The device is logged into the BB account, and the terms and conditions has been accepted.I have tried downloading the app world update, and also facebook and BBM updates, on both my wireless carrier network and my home WiFi, with the same green working circle, and then nothing.

A while back I updated my phone. So I backed up and restored my applications so I didn't lose the few I paid for. The other day I got a notification for an update for one of the applications I downloaded after the update. That got me thinking - since none of my other apps are in the "My World" section of the App World, I haven't been - and won't be - getting any updates for those applications. Is there any way I can add those applications to "My World" so I can get notifications for updates and stuff?
I went into the the Blackberry App World to download the "Score Mobile" app. While it was in the process of downloading, it froze and cancelled the download. The app is not showing up in the "My World" as downloaded. But when I go to re-download the "Score Mobile" app, it does not give me the option to download it. The download button does not come up for this app on my phone. I was wondering how to fix this and be able to download the app. I have a BB Curve 9380.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded to BB app world 2.0.1.12 from 1.x and regret it. The new app world requires the BB owner to set up a BB id in order to login and download applications. This is not working for me. I get authenticated but then the application is not downloaded. The screen gets stuck on the "Loading..." window. When I press escape a text comes up that "I have to agree to terms and conditions... ".but I have never been asked to agree. I pretty annoyed at this and find it all rather useless this app world upgrade.

When I got to the download page I did everything (authenticating, etc.) as per usual.The download began but then I received a message saying "FaceBook not available from AppWorld". View 2 Replies View Relatedwhen i attempt to download anything, such as a facebook update, i am requested to log in. so i enter my email and password but instead of the page returning and automatically starting the download as before it simply shows me my log in information page; my email, and whether i want to change my password or question.if i go back it returns to the same page where i can select download and the process repeats itself. <cycle of death!> if i hit the BB button i have the option to 'save' and changes to my log in info (even tho i made no changes) if i select 'save' the page just stays where it is. my other options are 'help' wh takes me online, 'see featured view' which takes me to appworld home or 'close'. none of these options allow me to actually get what i wanted to download in the first place and there is still the annoying symbol which tells me that i have 2 updates waiting.

"blackberry app world:research in motion limited" contains a different verion of "module net_rim_bb_appworld_usb" which is also used by "blackberry app world." If you procees blackberry app world may cease to fucntion properly.
