I had app world when I first got my phone a year ago but it randomly deleted itself, whenever I try to download it again it say:
"blackberry app world:research in motion limited" contains a different verion of "module net_rim_bb_appworld_usb" which is also used by "blackberry app world." If you procees blackberry app world may cease to fucntion properly.
I upgraded to the newest version of app world, upon completion of the update the icon disappeared.

I deleted it and tried to reinstall it, but all of a sudden I get a message saying: This device does not support Why? I am in South Africa. App World IS supported here, at least for free apps. I had it, all my family and friends have it, so I know it works in South Africa. Why can I suddenly not download App World?

Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. It has served me well in India and other countries in that a local simm card could be used to reduce roaming charges. Recently in Africa I had no service. It also prompted to insert a simm card. View 6 Replies View RelatedI went into the the Blackberry App World to download the "Score Mobile" app. While it was in the process of downloading, it froze and cancelled the download. The app is not showing up in the "My World" as downloaded. But when I go to re-download the "Score Mobile" app, it does not give me the option to download it. The download button does not come up for this app on my phone. I was wondering how to fix this and be able to download the app. I have a BB Curve 9380.
