View 2 RepliesI'm being locked out from my BB I'd after 3 failed attempt to login. Now I can't download anything frm App world, coz everytime I'm asked 2 login, it said 'there is error in current session. Please login to continue', but problem is I can't login. Even when I tried 2 update my BB Id from option/device/blackberry Id, it responses w/ 'unable to update your blackberry I'd information'. So, what should I do?

When I got to the download page I did everything (authenticating, etc.) as per usual.The download began but then I received a message saying "FaceBook not available from AppWorld". I figured it could be a site problem so I forgot about it but when I tried it again this week same message. I am completely unable to download any apps or updates from AppWorld (I can from third part sites but that's all).Have done the removing battery and reinstalling thing but...no dice. In addition someone mentioned the "My World" icon I should be wqorking with buy..
View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen i attempt to download anything, such as a facebook update, i am requested to log in. so i enter my email and password but instead of the page returning and automatically starting the download as before it simply shows me my log in information page; my email, and whether i want to change my password or question.if i go back it returns to the same page where i can select download and the process repeats itself. <cycle of death!> if i hit the BB button i have the option to 'save' and changes to my log in info (even tho i made no changes) if i select 'save' the page just stays where it is. my other options are 'help' wh takes me online, 'see featured view' which takes me to appworld home or 'close'. none of these options allow me to actually get what i wanted to download in the first place and there is still the annoying symbol which tells me that i have 2 updates waiting.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my BB in December and since then I've not been able to download anything from the app world, it keeps telling me 'unable to log in'.I've been in contact with Orange since then and have been told that they can no longer help with solving this issue, I'm starting to lose my patience with the whole thing now as I can't even get hold of an contact email address to try and solve my issue. I've tried resetting my password and even making a new blackberry ID and have had no joy

It just repeatedly says can't validate my ID even tho I redid it just to make sure. I use the same ID to sign in online on my pc and it recognizes me, so why won't it work on my handset?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my phone yesterday. when i opened the app wprld it asked me to upgrade and redirected me to a site from where i could upgrade it. however, that kept giving me an error. i delete the app world completely reboot my phone and then try downloading the app world on my handset. i did that just now but it still keeps giving me the same error which says
"Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor. The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing"

If a view an app and attempt to download it, the same thing happens. I'm trying to download the new version of Blackberry Bridge so that I can have more fun with Playbook os 2.0.

I have received messages stating a couple apps including App World have updates ready to download.I tap on the link to update App World, Im greeted with the There is a newer version available 3.0.0.xx Tapping update gives me the green circle working prompt with a network activity icon, then disappears and nothing happens. Checking the App status, app world is listed as version 2.x.x, so clearly it is not updating. The device is logged into the BB account, and the terms and conditions has been accepted.I have tried downloading the app world update, and also facebook and BBM updates, on both my wireless carrier network and my home WiFi, with the same green working circle, and then nothing.

For additional info, this is my fifth BlackBerry and this is also first time i encounter this problem as when i switch to new BlackBerry, there is no such problem as i using the Blackberry desktop to update and transfer all the old data to new data, now the blackberry protect keep popping up and request me to log in, however everytime i log in the message unable to log into your BlackBerry ID account appear and unable to proceed. I have log into Blackberry via email (laptop) there is no problem.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked.
