My app world disappeared and I can't find it!! I tried to download it again, but my BB gave an error (Torch 9800). Maybe it's still somewhere hidden on my BB but I can't find it!!
View 1 RepliesI have a Torch 9800. I've upgraded to the knew version of App World. Whenever I attempt to go into My World or My account I get a waiting popup that just hangs. If a view an app and attempt to download it, the same thing happens. I'm trying to download the new version of Blackberry Bridge so that I can have more fun with Playbook os 2.0.

Also, the folder that kept all my downloads, the one with the orange arrow pointing in, has also disappeared. I can't get to new applications and can't find all this good stuff, except what I stored on my home page.

I uninstalled app world (it shows up I under the applications manager but the icon does not show up as a icon on my blackbery). I eve uninstalled it using the desktop software and re-installed it to no avail.

Her emails stopped pushing so I re-sent the service books and now they work again.But now one of her email folders has completely disappeared but she still gets messages from that account seen in the combined Messages folder.I've tried battery pulls and deleting and re-adding the account but still no folder shows up for it, I can only see those messages through the "Messages" folder which is annoying.

Tried to follow steps on another forum to reinstall sound files. One step was to "Browse to C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesResearch In MotionSharedLoader Files(current device latest OS folder)Java" - problem being that when I navigate as far as C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesResearch In MotionShared there is no LOADER FILES folder on my PC. I haven't consciously deleted this, so what the hell is going on?!

I have a torch 9800 and had upgraded Os to 6.0.. I live in Virginia and use AT&T Wireless. I would get an error loading the program after reinstalling it. I had read about this issue and I decided not to worry about it and went on without those programs.Now..Today i no longer have app world? I am still recieving work emails in my "messages" folder, but the email folder is nowhere to be found. My company has reactivated my account about 5 times and I have taken out my battery at least 10 and it still does not show up.

It just repeatedly says can't validate my ID even tho I redid it just to make sure. I use the same ID to sign in online on my pc and it recognizes me, so why won't it work on my handset?

I have received messages stating a couple apps including App World have updates ready to download.I tap on the link to update App World, Im greeted with the There is a newer version available 3.0.0.xx Tapping update gives me the green circle working prompt with a network activity icon, then disappears and nothing happens. Checking the App status, app world is listed as version 2.x.x, so clearly it is not updating. The device is logged into the BB account, and the terms and conditions has been accepted.I have tried downloading the app world update, and also facebook and BBM updates, on both my wireless carrier network and my home WiFi, with the same green working circle, and then nothing.
