My App World has disappeared. I keep downloading it on my bb, but it doesn't seem to run or show up. What am I doing wrong? Also, the folder that kept all my downloads, the one with the orange arrow pointing in, has also disappeared. I can't get to new applications and can't find all this good stuff, except what I stored on my home page.

I'm sorry for posting a question perhaps already posted, but I didn't find a working answer.Even if the app world application is installed, it appears impossible to find the related icon, both on the application, download or application center. But if, from the list of application, i ask to change application, the icon appears in the list.

All attempts of retrieving the same have failed. I even reinstalled the apps world and whatsapp messenger but the same result. Have done hard reboot also.

Originally I wanted to set up my Blackberry email in OUtlook, but it seems that is not poossible, so the only alternative is to store my email in folders.
Just before Christmas I download the newest version of BB app world. Version 3.1.056. As soon as it was done I wanted to check it out.I started the app, went through some of the required entries and then got to the legal page where you need to agree or disagree. Well of course I agreed.The paged said please wait (Hour glass) and voila I'm back at the agreement page. Humm, okay let's agree again, and again, and again, and again. Well it appears my clicking of agree doesn't register as an "AGREE" so I think the update didn't work right.
Delete the app and download it again, and again and again, and still unable to get pass the legal agreement page. Okay lets email BlackBerry support for help. weeks later I have no reply.
Currently I have no App world loaded on my phone and I'm looking for an older version to download for now so I can download apps.
when i go to log into app world i get an error message saying blackberry app world is having trouble connecting to blackberry app world server. verify your network connections and try again. phone is working as can make calls and txts just cant log into app world.

Well i have had my phone for months and not one time have i been able to access my app world from my phone i continually receive and error message after i input my log in information in. It is a complete waste of my monthly charges not being able to have full access to my phone.

It would be nice to lump applications that get badge notifications into one folder. This would at least provide some form of notification management until Apple solves the problem. Granted this won't work for applications that use the badge icons for things like temperature.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore the latest update, most of my apps were organized into folders and some of these folders were placed on the home screens. After the updates, some of the folders are "gone" not only from the home screen but from the apps area. I can see the apps if I go into App Manager, but I cannot open them from there. So I currently cannot find any way to open many apps that I previously downloaded (and app manager says I still have). Strangely, this only happened with some apps and folders but not all . View 6 Replies View Relatedi have a problem with my bb bold 9780. the folders in the main manu keep changing their names from german to english (my selected language is german). e.g. the games and the application folder, the rest has still its german name. and also there appear new icons, some with a question mark in it (but on top it says sounds), some i don't know. it seems to me, that my bb kind of splits folders and than some of the icons show up in the main menu.
this started yesterday and so i updated my bb. after this everything was fine again. i deleted some of the apps that were installed with the update (Internet, myspace, ...) and after the restart there was the same problem again. i installed some new apps (slide lock, games, themes and password lock) before and some time after the problem started. i don't know if this has any to do with it.
The two icons have disappeared and I can't find them.

The only thing on the page are the four things on the bottom. Phone, Chrome, Contacts and apps. I can get to everything from the app drawer, should be a simple matter to repopulate my home page. I've restarted my phone several times. I've both just restarted, and shut down, then restarted. Problem: My 3 email account icons disappeared on the phone First happened last week I believe on 2/14 and again this morning. The 3 accounts are a BlackBerry, Hotmail and a company account (Outlook) with Microsoft Exchange I was able to get the BlackBerry and the Hotmail account to work again by entering the passwords but not the Outlook account, the error message is: [URL] password is invalid. Please try again Last night I was able to get my Outlook email account to work again however I lost it again this morning with same error message, p.s. also lost the other 2 accounts this morning but got them going again easily.
