This is the first time i post a message, being just registered. I'm sorry for posting a question perhaps already posted, but I didn't find a working answer.Even if the app world application is installed, it appears impossible to find the related icon, both on the application, download or application center. But if, from the list of application, i ask to change application, the icon appears in the list.
View 4 RepliesMy App World has disappeared. I keep downloading it on my bb, but it doesn't seem to run or show up. What am I doing wrong? Also, the folder that kept all my downloads, the one with the orange arrow pointing in, has also disappeared. I can't get to new applications and can't find all this good stuff, except what I stored on my home page.

All attempts of retrieving the same have failed. I even reinstalled the apps world and whatsapp messenger but the same result. Have done hard reboot also.

When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available through App World.Is there anyone else having this issue? View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8520, a while back i had app world, did not really use it much til one day my friend told me to download an app, i went to do so and suddenly my app world was gone. i looked all through my blackberry for it, unhide everything just incase i hide it, but nothing! it just mysteriously disappeared! then when i go to redownload it by going to the website on my phone it says the requested page cannot be displayed. then i try downloading it through my pc and it says it cannot connect, but yet it can connect and update through blackberry desktop manager?

I haven't had any need to use the App world in a while, and I know it was previously loaded on my BB before the upgrade. I went looking for it today, and it's completely disappeared. I looked in Options > Applications, and found it in the Add-on section, and it says it was installed in March. However, I don't know how to find it. where it might be hidden, and how I can get it back and working again?

I uninstalled app world (it shows up I under the applications manager but the icon does not show up as a icon on my blackbery). I eve uninstalled it using the desktop software and re-installed it to no avail.

Thankfully I was able to find most of the apps I downloaded in the download folder, but one of them reset and I don't have the activation code or the record that I bought that particular app since my world has no record of it.

I believe that it has been stopped behind some firewall, as when I try to open it from wireless network I can open it smoothly but only when I try to open it from my blackberry service it cud'nt open.I had no prb with my previous version when it was working on my phn smoothly but only it was a latset update I updated and it had this problem.

I few days back I updated my Blackberry Application World to 3.1.0.60 but since then I am unable to locate my Application world icon on my home screen.I checked my entire bb and even hidden files but its nowhere to be found.It shows in the installed applications list but nowhere in the blackberry. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked.
