But if, from the list of application, i ask to change application, the icon appears in the list.

Nov 30, 2010I have a blackberry curve 8520, a while back i had app world, did not really use it much til one day my friend told me to download an app, i went to do so and suddenly my app world was gone. i looked all through my blackberry for it, unhide everything just incase i hide it, but nothing! it just mysteriously disappeared! then when i go to redownload it by going to the website on my phone it says the requested page cannot be displayed. then i try downloading it through my pc and it says it cannot connect, but yet it can connect and update through blackberry desktop manager?

May 27, 2010I have a BB Curve 8530 and I recently did the OS upgrade. I haven't had any need to use the App world in a while, and I know it was previously loaded on my BB before the upgrade. I went looking for it today, and it's completely disappeared. I looked in Options > Applications, and found it in the Add-on section, and it says it was installed in March. However, I don't know how to find it. where it might be hidden, and how I can get it back and working again?

Aug 1, 2012I installed the upgrade to app world and it disappeared. I rebooted. I re-registered. I uninstalled app world (it shows up I under the applications manager but the icon does not show up as a icon on my blackbery). I eve uninstalled it using the desktop software and re-installed it to no avail.

I few days back I updated my Blackberry Application World to 3.1.0.60 but since then I am unable to locate my Application world icon on my home screen.I checked my entire bb and even hidden files but its nowhere to be found.It shows in the installed applications list but nowhere in the blackberry. Nov 19, 2012I'm trying to use standard 3.5mm jack headphones on my curve. However for a start they don't seem to fit very well (they don't go all the way down). Secondly when in all they way all I get is a kind of a low clicking noise. If I pull the connector out slightly I can just about get it to play but the sound quality is poor. Does this ring any bells? Same thing happens with multiple headphones and whether I'm playing an MP3 or using the radio. The OS is 7.10 bundle 1319.
