Blackberry sent me a message that an upgrade was available for one of my game applications "Shoppers Paradise". When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available through App World.Is there anyone else having this issue? Is Blackberry working on this issue?
View 2 RepliesIn my world, whatsApp Messenger says its installed and an upgrade is available. 24 MB are free it shows.when i hit upgrade from 2.0.1826.424 to 2.1.1955.124, i get an error:'WhatsApp Messenger is not available for download from App World'.
What does this error mean?I downloaded this app a few weeks ago, using appworld & paypal was used. it has been working fine ...why cant i upgrade?I contaced WhatsApp support, and they said that its an AppWorld / PayPal issue.
When I access App World, it advises me there is an upgrade available. I download and install the upgrade, and then when I have restarted and enter App World and try to access my world, I am asked to enter a password. When I enter my password, I am told the password and account do not match, error id 30601. I am unable to access My World now.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn Vodafone in UK, and my Storm worked fine with the old App world. Then the new version came out. I've downloaded it umpteen times, and have created a BB ID. I log in correctly into App world on the Storm, and I just get the "loading" screen and cannot get past this. This has been going on for weeks. I thought there was a fault with the phone, but the store manager said he has been having exactly the same problem and that it is a problem at the BB end of things. When will RIM get this sorted out?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry 9523 that was a Verizon Phone but is now unlocked and utilizing At&t service.I downloaded BB App World to the phone with no problem. When I touch the icon to connect I get error message "Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to BB App W server. Verify your network connection and try again."
1) the new work connection is working fine.
2) I have downloaded the B App W app twice so far still introduces. Any ideas that can help me?

I'm sorry for posting a question perhaps already posted, but I didn't find a working answer.Even if the app world application is installed, it appears impossible to find the related icon, both on the application, download or application center. But if, from the list of application, i ask to change application, the icon appears in the list.

The site installed a web plugin, after tht i tried connecting my device, the site shows my pin clicking on which my phone gets connected to the site. Than i click to download the new apps software on the device as suggested by the apps site. The downloading starts, later the device is restarted, but when the device bootsup the apps site gives a error " App World Web Plugin Error" "an error has occurred communicating with the Blackberry App world client."

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. View 9 Replies View RelatedI just updated App World to the latest version v4.0.0.55. After rebooting the phone I can no longer launch App World. The icon is there but when I click it nothing happens. I have a Curve 9330. I tried rebooting several times. I guess it doesn't matter much since I'll be moving to Android in a couple weeks, but figured I would share this issue for others.

He may have logged into his account in an app or something but now my bb I'd has changed to his. I have read all kinds of posts about the bb Id, and all of them say it is not possible to change it once it has been set unless a device wipe has been done on the device. My device was using my bb id and now it is using my friends. NO DEVICE WIPE WAS DONE ON MY BB by anyone. how was the bb I'd changed then?

I then received conflicting messages saying 1) that the download failed (error 907 wrong COD) and followed by 2) Download successful, hold down the esc key to return to home screen. Now the App World icon has completely disappeared and my previous version of App World has also gone.

View 7 Replies View Relatedwhen i attempt to download anything, such as a facebook update, i am requested to log in. so i enter my email and password but instead of the page returning and automatically starting the download as before it simply shows me my log in information page; my email, and whether i want to change my password or question.if i go back it returns to the same page where i can select download and the process repeats itself. <cycle of death!> if i hit the BB button i have the option to 'save' and changes to my log in info (even tho i made no changes) if i select 'save' the page just stays where it is. my other options are 'help' wh takes me online, 'see featured view' which takes me to appworld home or 'close'. none of these options allow me to actually get what i wanted to download in the first place and there is still the annoying symbol which tells me that i have 2 updates waiting.
