BB Storm :: App World Not Working On 9500?

On Vodafone in UK, and my Storm worked fine with the old App world. Then the new version came out. I've downloaded it umpteen times, and have created a BB ID. I log in correctly into App world on the Storm, and I just get the "loading" screen and cannot get past this. This has been going on for weeks. I thought there was a fault with the phone, but the store manager said he has been having exactly the same problem and that it is a problem at the BB end of things. When will RIM get this sorted out?

Blackberry sent me a message that an upgrade was available for one of my game applications "Shoppers Paradise". When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available through App World.Is there anyone else having this issue? Is Blackberry working on this issue?

When I access App World, it advises me there is an upgrade available. I download and install the upgrade, and then when I have restarted and enter App World and try to access my world, I am asked to enter a password. When I enter my password, I am told the password and account do not match, error id 30601. I am unable to access My World now.

I have a Blackberry 9523 that was a Verizon Phone but is now unlocked and utilizing At&t service.I downloaded BB App World to the phone with no problem. When I touch the icon to connect I get error message "Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to BB App W server. Verify your network connection and try again."
1) the new work connection is working fine.
2) I have downloaded the B App W app twice so far still introduces. Any ideas that can help me?

In my world, whatsApp Messenger says its installed and an upgrade is available. 24 MB are free it shows.when i hit upgrade from 2.0.1826.424 to 2.1.1955.124, i get an error:'WhatsApp Messenger is not available for download from App World'.
What does this error mean?I downloaded this app a few weeks ago, using appworld & paypal was used. it has been working fine ...why cant i upgrade?I contaced WhatsApp support, and they said that its an AppWorld / PayPal issue.

My browser and email stopped working about 3 days ago and I spent almost a whole day on the phone with support, no help. They had me do everything including delete all my service books and now there is nothing in the host routing table. They finally said, we cant help. My phone is stuck on lower case edge and I cant get data.

I am having trouble trying to use the Voice Dialing feature on my phone.It used to work fine, but now any time I try to access the Voice Dialing, it goes to to the Voice Dialing screen, and it starts Initializing/syncing, but it just backs out back to the main screen.I've tried using convenience keys and the touch screen to access Voice Dialing.Nothing works.

I recently bought the Blackberry Strom 2 9550 from Ebay(Verizon wireless Unlocked) and I am using this in Saudi Arabia on the Mobily Network(a Local Service Provider).I have subscribed into the BIS plan and have set up the email and everything works fine, But I cant see the BB maps(I have tried the show all on the homescreen but still nothing) application to use the GPS Maps (I dont know if this could be used). The only application it does have is the VZNavigator which I believe works only in the U.S, Is there an alternate application that I can install to use GPS Navigation(Google maps doesnt work either)? Or is there device software for Saudi Arabia that has all relevant applications?
Secondly when I do try to login through the Facebook allplication it says connection error, is there anything I can do about this.

In Blackberry Messenger the keyboard will not appear on the Storm 2. When you're in a group chat or individual chats the keyboard does not appear when you click inside the text box or choose show keyboard from the menu. I've heard this from a few other people I know that have the Storm 2. This is very frustrating. Please help!!!!!!!

I've just changed the display of my BB 9500 'cos it was broken, the display I changed was new, but now it's giving me trouble! It just sticks up into black and sometimes works, some others just works fine.

Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong with my BlackBerry Storm 9500?Just recently went to the UK and internet was working fine and now I'm back in Australia the internet wont work at all. It says "You are currently not in an area that can handle data communication. As a result the browser cannot retrieve any web pages" This happens even when Im in full reception and where I would have been prior to leaving!?
Usually I just turn it off and take the battery out but this time it doesnt work. I have no idea what to do or anything about the network etc.

I recently got a Storm 2 9550. Verizon is service provider. BB Maps was working OK when I got it.
Last week I upgraded to 5.0.0.607. Now BB Maps shows only a yellow screen with no maps. I have tried everything I could on the boards, reinstalled a couple times. Still no luck.

so as the title says, i was able to go on car forums and such from my blackberrry storm ver. 1 with the v5.0 software.it was working like a charm and better than before and one day it just decided not to work anymore. does anyone else have the same issues / any solutions to fix this? i can go into the forum, but not the thread itself. it just comes up as blank.

I'm having a little trouble with my storm 9500's touch screen. There's a part of my screen that won't work. At the beginning I thought that the screen was malfunctioning or it was broken but for some reason when I connect my device to my PC the part that is not working changes and the part that was not working before is working. There are times when the entire screen is not working and there are times when the entire screen is working properly. I tried to reinstall the software of my device by wiping the memory and then installing the os using Loader but it didn't work at all.

I have a storm 2 9550 on MTS Mobility running v5.0.0.517. I cannot get app world to work anymore on my phone. I have tried the suggestions on the boards and still have no luck. App world installs but when I start it it just stays on the loading screen when I try to start it.

I upgraded my 9500's OS to 5.0.0.425 post which I haven't been able to bring up the keyboard by swiping my finger from the bottom of the screen to the middle. However when I try to swipe it down, the keyboard does disappear. Is this a common problem with the 5.0.0.425 or is it just me who is unlucky?

I am a brand new user to Blackberry so I still don't know all the ins and outs, I'm hoping someone here can help me out.I have a Storm2 that is about 2 weeks old, it has been working great up until yesterday when the lock screen button just stopped working. I am referring to the method of tapping the power button on the top left to add and remove the lock.The power button still works to turn the phone on etc, but just wont lock the screen. As you can imagine this makes life very difficult with a touch screen phone.

Red Hard key Won't power off, won't end a call and on the BB logo hard key no menu will open. It's like they click but actuate nothing? keys 2 and 4 of the bottom row if I've lost anyone.How can I 'fix' these keys. Worked great this am. did several battery pulls.Phone is in an OEM holster 24/7

My Storm 1 crashed Sunday night with message on screen stating 'Reload Softwares 552'. I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. Gonna miss my Storm 1 but the Storm 2 is sweet! Just got it today. Anyone wanting to upgrade, try using that excuse.

I recently updated the software on my Blackberry Storm 9500 to version 5.0 and now i cannot send mms (though I can still receive mms).I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with my carrier (Vodafone) and they have no idea why I can no longer send mms. I tried downgrading the software and found I could send mms again.Is there any way of fixing it so i can have the newest version of software on my Blackberry and still be able to send mms?

But if, from the list of application, i ask to change application, the icon appears in the list.

I'm having is when I go to send the service books to activate email I keep getting update failed I tried the diagnostic test and manually sending the books. Has a Storm and it just shut off on. When I pull the battery, the red light comes on for a few seconds and the screen and buttons light up. Then, it starts over. 20 minutes later and it's still in that same cycle.
It's rocking Verizon's official 5.0 and she doesn't do anything to modify or hack it. I've never encountered this before.
I'm wondering if the OS became corrupt, but we're @ Red Lobster and there's nothing I can do now.

I'm having problem with my storm phone ever since it was dropped in water. I left it to dry for a week. Since then I replaced my battery and the phone came on with the clock and then the screen showed up. and could not do anything. Then the screen went black. Now when I try to recharge it only a green light appears and nothing else. Did I kill my battery and is the phone no longer good or it's just my screen and i can replace it.
