I just updated App World to the latest version v4.0.0.55. After rebooting the phone I can no longer launch App World. The icon is there but when I click it nothing happens. I have a Curve 9330. I tried rebooting several times. I guess it doesn't matter much since I'll be moving to Android in a couple weeks, but figured I would share this issue for others.

Blackberry sent me a message that an upgrade was available for one of my game applications "Shoppers Paradise". When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available through App World.Is there anyone else having this issue? Is Blackberry working on this issue?

Launching the camera app by mistake is annoying and it happens from time to time.
I tried Settings > Display & gestures > Motion Launch gestures but it looks like I'll have to disabled the whole thing.
Anyone else has issues with App World. I am trying to login with my paypal information and it's not letting me, i get an error that tells me to try again later. Anyone else having issues with this after the upgrade? I need to get activation codes for apps i bought through app world but can't get into my account.

He may have logged into his account in an app or something but now my bb I'd has changed to his. I have read all kinds of posts about the bb Id, and all of them say it is not possible to change it once it has been set unless a device wipe has been done on the device. My device was using my bb id and now it is using my friends. NO DEVICE WIPE WAS DONE ON MY BB by anyone. how was the bb I'd changed then?

I download and install the upgrade, and then when I have restarted and enter App World and try to access my world, I am asked to enter a password. When I enter my password, I am told the password and account do not match, error id 30601. I am unable to access My World now.

I tried installing it several times. It goes through the download process and in the end I get a message "uncaught exception missing resource net.rim.device.apps.internal.appstore.resource.BlackBerryAppStore" How do I get this resource loaded on?

I uninstalled app world (it shows up I under the applications manager but the icon does not show up as a icon on my blackbery). I then received conflicting messages saying 1) that the download failed (error 907 wrong COD) and followed by 2) Download successful, hold down the esc key to return to home screen. Now the App World icon has completely disappeared and my previous version of App World has also gone.

Now only 12MB is left without adding any applications. I see that the new OS has stored the OS files on application memory; is there a way to transfer the new OS to the Media card?

Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. A while back I updated my phone. So I backed up and restored my applications so I didn't lose the few I paid for. The other day I got a notification for an update for one of the applications I downloaded after the update. That got me thinking - since none of my other apps are in the "My World" section of the App World, I haven't been - and won't be - getting any updates for those applications. Is there any way I can add those applications to "My World" so I can get notifications for updates and stuff?
I have an IBM thinkpad T41 with WIndows XP Pro, Service Pak 2.I had Nokia's PC suite 7.1.51 running just fine for quite some time- Weeks.Then all of a sudden it wont open or launch. Icon is still on the desktop, but nothing happens when I try to launch it. I've tried removing it and re-installing, I've tried copying it from another computer that has the same configs, I've tried all the disscussion group solutions and I've tried pulling my hair out while kicking and screaming Nothing is working! What is going wrong and why wont it open? I'm using Norton 360 also, but it was in place when the original was working. I've got a E71 with a CA-101 cable.

I have downloaded a few themes and berryweather and I don't know if its my imagination but when going into to view photographs in the media section I think it takes longer than it should - I will need to check this against my brothers 9700 which hasn't been altered at all.I also have capture it, does this run in the back ground and maybe is the cause, meaning QL would be worth it as it replaces the need for capture it?
I thought that I would have to pay extra to upgrade my 3gs to a 4, but when I checked apple's site, it said I could get it for the regular $199. I thought only people within 6 months of their upgrade date get the regular price.

Re-installing the application may fix the problem." Which i did Re-installed it and still saying the same thing.
