Launching the camera app by mistake is annoying and it happens from time to time.

BB Bold 9700 :: Maps Program Launch Icon
Jan 1, 2010I have a new Blackberry Bold 9700, The Blackberry Maps are? were, or maybe partly missing? I called AT&T Support they transferred me over to advanced support, the woman there catogorically stated there is no compatible version of BB Maps with the 9700, doesn't exist. This Morning I decided to investigate my Application Folder or Inventory on the 9700 and sure enough its there, unless I have a broken brain under 3 rd party applications it says " Blackberry Maps 5..0.0" 7 modules installed and it shows the Update Date, the purchase date I connected to Blackberry Desk Top Manager and upgraded all the software.

Aug 13, 2010I have an IBM thinkpad T41 with WIndows XP Pro, Service Pak 2.I had Nokia's PC suite 7.1.51 running just fine for quite some time- Weeks.Then all of a sudden it wont open or launch. Icon is still on the desktop, but nothing happens when I try to launch it. I've tried removing it and re-installing, I've tried copying it from another computer that has the same configs, I've tried all the disscussion group solutions and I've tried pulling my hair out while kicking and screaming Nothing is working! What is going wrong and why wont it open? I'm using Norton 360 also, but it was in place when the original was working. I've got a E71 with a CA-101 cable.

Mar 9, 2012I have a Blackberrry bold 9780 for the past 2 years.I have configured 4 email ids on it.For the past few days i have noticed that it has started hanging on me.Even after doing a hard reset it still hangs so decided to take a backup. when i connect it to blackberry desktop manager it connects after a few minutes but as i start to take the backup it goes off and restarts.i need all these mails as they are all very important to me.I managed to connect and take backups after a few unsucessful attempts.I noticed that after conecting via the blackberry manager and going to appications that the device only 5 mb remaining out of the 500mb storage.There are no appications installed other that my mails.Now my question is how to free up space in the phone as the phone is almost unuable.I need the mails as i have also added a flags to my important mails which are older that 2 years
1)Is there a way to delete mails that are not flaged.??
2)can mail storage be changed to media card???
3)Can these mails which are there be synced to outlook ???
4) what are my other options other than going to a newer decive with more storage.
I am using the phone with the blacberry services turned off.
Also I have tried uninstalling blackberry protect which all of a sudden showed up in the appications via blackberry destop manager the space is now showing 3mb left out of 500mb after the phone restarted.

Jun 19, 2010Apple and ATT have really messed up this release with the iPhone 4. First no statement about the iPhone 4 and now there canceling peoples contracts giving stupid excuses. How didnt the have time to ramp up the production. If im right wasnt gizmodos prototype which was basically a finished product come out about 3 months ago? Why not have enough for launch day?
