I am in HK using the 3 network. I can do everything but seems that I can't not download the BB Apps World from the site. I am using V5.0.0.351 and its that it is not supported. The site says that it only requires a V4.7 or higher but I don't seems to be able to download it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded my BB Bold 9900 to the lateset version yesterday. and after the update process, two applications has stopped working "BBM & App World". When I hover on them and then click them the phone doesn't open them and stays on the home screen. but when I go and see the background application list, it shows them on. I have tried to wipe the phone and hard reset it but nothing came up.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've tried some apps and don't like them so removed them yet they are forever on my uninstall list.I've no intention of ever reinstalling them again so want them gone from my list - it's stupid that when they're uninstalled that they're not gone automatically and logging into Blackberry World shows them there again.I imagine it's a 'feature' from Blackberry so this post is probably going to get a 'it's not possible' response in which case Blackberry pull your finger out.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently had to remove an email address and then reinstall it. Unfortunately, before I removed it, I forgot to highlight all my email as 'Read'.Having removed and the reninstalled the email address, rather than have an empty inbox and 0 Unread emails, I have an empty inbox and 41 unread emails. It's obviously still storing the old email somewhere or still picking up the unread count from somewhere but I can't work out where.
Could someone mail or pin me with a solution to this. I know someone out there will have done this at some stage!
I just bought an used BB 9900 Bold that came with IT policy. I thought I'd upgrade the OS to 7.1 bundle 1149 and it will return to factory settings removing the IT policy. But it did not remove the IT policy now I even can't access BBM World Apps. Any ideas how to remove this IT policy that is restricting me from BBM Apps. I tried crackutil and it does not recognize OS 7.1 so basically I am stuck with the 9900 and can's even use.

I had previously had two accounts email accounts on my Bold and completely deleted these, including going through service books to insure removal and pulling battery to reset.
When I reset one of these, the other appears and while mail for the first is received, mail can not be sent.
How can I break some sort of relationship between these accounts and my Blackberry services (BIS). These accounts are through two differet service providers (GoDaddy and GMail).
Additionally, I deleted other unneeded email acocunts yet one account (unrelated to the two above) still remains in my Contact Options. How do I remove this? Bold 9900, 7.1 (998)
I am trying to delete my email address and icons from my blackberry bold 9780. the reason for this is that i have purchased a new blackberry bold 9790 and i am sending my old bold back to Vodaphone as a trade in,they have asked me to remove all personel infomation, this i have done apart from my two email addresses and icons.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThere are three sample movies sitting in the system folder (BMW M3, Speedracer trailer and a Delta Goodrem music video) which take up about 85MB of memory. I have tried using maxmem from Berrycoder to remove the files, but it won't delete these videos from the memory.Using FileScout, I try to delete the files and the response is "cannot delete the file, it is an OS5.0 read only system file". Is there any way of deleting these files on the Bold 9000? I have read up on Crackberry on optimising the memory and trying to use BBSAK (BB Swiss Army Knife) but have had zero success on getting rid of these files. Another question while I am asking. Would deleting these files make any difference to the available free memory as reported through the Status. I am hovering around 27MB and want to increase it without deleting the apps I have loaded into the Bold.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a few application that I thought were demos of games, but turned out to just be links to the developer's website. It was essentially just a ploy to get some extra revenue, which I suppose is their perogative, but I found the label to be misleading. In any case, I now wish to remove these "demos", but I can't seem to figure out how. The menu on selection won't let me remove the icon (it can be hidden, but I want it gone), and they don't show up under Setup --> Applications. They also don't appear in App World, so I can't archive/delete them from there. I've been working on this for a while now, to no avail. Any thoughts?
