Apr 16, 2011So I use the Blackberry pearl 9100 and I have been trying to update blackberry app world from my computer to my phone, but it's not working it always tells me this: "The BlackBerry USB Driver is not installed. install the correct USB driver to download the application." And my USB is plugged in and it's making me angry because it not working

Jul 8, 2010Blackberry sent me a message that an upgrade was available for one of my game applications "Shoppers Paradise". When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available through App World.Is there anyone else having this issue? Is Blackberry working on this issue?

Feb 2, 2012I was searching through the forum for a solution and I think I tried almost all.The problems is this mensage when I try to connect my BB pearl 9105(vodafone portugal) to app world: "An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. Please restart your device and try again. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again."I have disable on security option the encryption, the firewall..I replaced the OS 5 again 2 times.I changed my web browser to chrome.I tried to update for OS 6 through the loader(and delete the xml file) doesn´t appear any option for update the OS...I used the factory default option.I saw many solutions but until now none have solved my problem.Does anybody can help to solve my problem?

Mar 31, 2011I've downloaded the new BlackBerry OS6 software for my Pearl 9105, however, since then, I can't access App World, when selected it just gets stuck, BlackBerry Protect is also having problems, I get the error message 'Error starting net_rim_bb_dryad_gui: Symbol 'Security.device UnderAttack' not found.'
I've uninstalled App World and reinstalled but still have the same problem.
BB Pearl :: App World 3.1.1.21 Does Not Work Anymore
May 15, 2011The version 3.1.1.21 for the BlackBerry App World is not working for my BlackBerry Pearlâ„¢ 3G 9105. The problem is that I cannnot fully access to the app, because it frozes! Furthermore (and consequently I think) my network does not work anymore. I mean that the browser web is ok (and I can surf, even if at low speed), but all the applications do not work properly. And even when I am trying to download the official app world (again) from the official site it won't work. To download 2MB it will take all night long! This is not possible. Another example: the maps are not working anymore and the roads appear after a long time. It is not a problem of the mobile carrier!!! What should I do? I am desperate because I cannot use my phone anymore! I also tried to return to the previous version of the app but the problem hasn't disappeared yet!
I tried to re-install the software (v. 6.0.0.668) but had the same problem. Then tried again and deleted the file "Device" from C/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader (not the "vendor" file because it does not exist). But anything happened! Thought it would have re-installed the previous version of the App World but it did not! I am really desperate because I do not know what to do.

However there is no bb app world on it at the minute and as I just tried to download it from google I get the message 'your device does not meet the system requirements to support bb app world'. How do I get the system requirements? I only bought it for bb messenger.

Jul 22, 2011upgrade my OS 5 to OS 6. I'm from the Philippines and my service provider is Globe Telecom. I downloaded the v6.0.0.2597. I already installed it but still cant upgrade. He may have logged into his account in an app or something but now my bb I'd has changed to his. Mar 23, 2012I have just upgraded my software via the internet to OS6 and although the new software is awesome, my app world won't open. When I click on the icon, the phone freezes. I have installed and uninstalled... inserted and re-inserted the battery many times. I have also tried to install an earlier version.
Also my protect gives me the following message: "Error starting net_rim_bb_dryad gui: Symbol 'Security.device Under Attack' not found."
And finally when I am typing in BBM or anywhere else I get a text imput error message. Murphy's law it's not coming up now when I want to post this. I love my BB but I want to be able to use all the services offered. My line of work depends on my phone working properly.
