i have a BB Curve 9300 mobile phone and i want to upgrade my 5.0 Version to 6.0 Version. If i want to install that update: 9300AllLang_PBr6.0.0_rel2391_PL6.6.0.200_A6.0.0.534_Telus_Mobility ... i get a message that i cant install that version on my device cause i need a BB mebership?! what can i do to get a membership and how to upgrade my firmware?

The replacement has the original firmware version on it!Should I be tempted to try the upgrade again, or play it safe and keep what I've got?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) to OS 6 bundle 2949 there's no chance to disconnect a phone call (to end a call); neither by clicking the red button nor by using the BlackBerry-Menu. I just can disconnect by putting my BB in holster or by clicking on the connect/disconnect-button of my bluetooth-headset. (Of course this works only if I'm using it and if it's connected.). Otherwise I have to wait, until the other one hangs up. But that doesn't work, if I check my voicemail, because it waits for my disconnect.

I have a 9300 and it was due for upgrade from A T & T spouse has Iphone wanted new one not in upgrade period. Used my number to do upgrade now email doesn't work on 9300. AT & T Tech tried to help but it was a no go. They stated that Rim might have disabled something but not sure any assistance is wonderful. However,Things I have tried so far: I have used the desktop software's upgrade function to upgrade but every time I get the message that, there is no upgrade available. I also downloaded my carrier (MTN - South Africa) specific software the "9300M_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448" file and installed it onto my computer. I then connected my BB and tried to upgrade but was still unsuccessful.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi recently purchased a brand new unlocked Pearl 9100 and on the side of the box was some Vodafone stickers but upon turning on the device i see no reference to Vodafone at all and the software version (6 Bundle 2474 v6.0.0.546) seems to indicate it's generic firmware.I have been noticing the phone changing network layers (Egde, GPRS, 3G) erratically and seems slow to find a nearer tower and switch to it to remain 3G so i am thinking perhaps Optus firmware may have optimisation for this problem but i cannot get it loaded.I have tried deleting the vendor.xml file and reinstalling the Optus 9100 firmware, and following the usual instructions found in this forum but when it finishes reading the phone it states the Optus firmware is not compatible with my device so it's all blanked out.

No bluetooth on(I never use it) I don't have a data plan, so no bbm on or whatever , wifi is barely on ( battery starts to die within the one hour I take it off the charger - about 85 percentt battery life) does this mean the battery must be changed ?

3. "true" desk-top browser. try cnbc.com, it'll take you to the "mobile" version instead of the full-web/desktop verson. i cant remember a couple of other sitest, but cnbc is one of them as i follow news quiet closely.
4. being an internet device, it must give you unparalleled user-friendliness, which fixing the first 3 above would. of course people may have other feedback other than browsing experience, but like i said, being a browser device, browsing experience is paramount
