I recently (Friday) updated my software to V6.0 Bundle 2647 as recommended by my PC.After installing the new software my phone registered on the network etc but my mail has stopped working.I can not connect to the to the email settings but can get into it via o2 website and all looks ok.Any ideas or should I roll back to the previous version ? if possible ?
View 1 RepliesI was using my blackberry curve 9300 today, it was working fine and then I began to find it hard to use the trackpad, it was like it wasn't picking my thumb up so I decided to do a battery pull and I plugged the battery back in and the red light won't turn on and neither will the screen. It seems to be non-functional all of a sudden.

After a few tries or after restarting the device, it began to work properly again. Just recently the trackpad stop to work altogether. I don't know if this is hardware related or if there's just a problem with software since I saw error messages regarding "java" or something. Also, I don't know if this is related but the problems started just after I added lock protection to my phone.

I have a 9300 and it was due for upgrade from A T & T spouse has Iphone wanted new one not in upgrade period. Used my number to do upgrade now email doesn't work on 9300. AT & T Tech tried to help but it was a no go. They stated that Rim might have disabled something but not sure any assistance is wonderful. Do I have to replace the jack? I have rebooted many times. When the headphones are halfway in, the phone recognised them for a short while but then carries on playing through speaker. I performed a wipe on the previous BB and was pleased with the result until I put my Sim back in the 9300 and discovered I now have no email setup. When I try to enter the setup email wizard it just freezes, if I'm redirected there its the same. Am just reinstalling OS 6 bundle 2647 in the vain hope that it might work but am not convinced.

When i visited the local Apple store their response was pathetic, they tried selling me another 3GS. my phone was working fine until i decided to keep the OS up to date. Now i feel that was one of the biggest mistake as Apple doesn't take ownership of its own products, the tech support told me the same thing "when you upgrade iOS on an old device, you are basically doing it at your own risk" ... WOW, i was blown off. Now that my phone has stopped working i'm looking for a solution from apple else this is definitely going to be a serious matter.

I bought Blackberry curve 9300 on August 8,2011 and have come across this problem of SIM not being recognized and shows SOS on screen. After this problem, I had sent this to service centre and they said that since new software update has come hence my phone is having this problem and they said it will take 10-12 days to fix this problem All my phone numbers are in this phone and what will I do for 10-12 days without phone?I connected to laptop and updated the Black berry software through update however still no solution.
Today I upgraded the software hoping this will fix this NO SIM recognition issue but no use. This issues had occured in past also but for strange reason was rectified in past.
On Vodafone, i go through the desktop manager, and it gets to the screen telling me to pick which applications i would like to install, then it tells me that my device has no memory to install the updates... yet if i go onto the device it says it has 130.5mb of application memory free and 1.8GB of media card memory free..

Have tried pressing all the buttons but always have to wait until the call ends. This makes it worthless during calls, especially if there is an automated system. The only time it does work is when using Bluetooth.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) to OS 6 bundle 2949 there's no chance to disconnect a phone call (to end a call); neither by clicking the red button nor by using the BlackBerry-Menu. I just can disconnect by putting my BB in holster or by clicking on the connect/disconnect-button of my bluetooth-headset. (Of course this works only if I'm using it and if it's connected.). Otherwise I have to wait, until the other one hangs up. But that doesn't work, if I check my voicemail, because it waits for my disconnect.
