BB Curve :: Email Does Not Seem To Be Working On 9300
Sep 19, 2012
My email does not seem to be working on my curve 9300, I recently had a curve 9230 which I set up the same email on to that but then wiped the phone and took the email off, I am now using my 9300 and my email does not work, everytime I try to add my email back onto it it does not go on to the email setup, the email setup icon is there but I click it and nothing happens, I tried registering my blackberry again to the network but it still never helped, I security wiped it aswell n tried to add my email but the same problem occurred, i really need my email on my blackberry.
I have a Blackberry Curve 9300 which was working fine until I put my Sim card into the previous BB 8900 to remove data etc as I am going to trade it in. I performed a wipe on the previous BB and was pleased with the result until I put my Sim back in the 9300 and discovered I now have no email setup. When I try to enter the setup email wizard it just freezes, if I'm redirected there its the same. Am just reinstalling OS 6 bundle 2647 in the vain hope that it might work but am not convinced.
I recently (Friday) updated my software to V6.0 Bundle 2647 as recommended by my PC.After installing the new software my phone registered on the network etc but my mail has stopped working.I can not connect to the to the email settings but can get into it via o2 website and all looks ok.Any ideas or should I roll back to the previous version ? if possible ?
Have won a Curve 9300 in a raffle, unlocked. I have put an Orange PAYG sim card in and it's fine for calls and SMS but when I try to set up e-mail it shows BES as the only option but I want to use BIS, not having an enterprise server which I can connect to.

Also having probs with signing in with my facebook account it keeps telling me to contact server
I have a BB Curve 9300 I just recently purchased and I am having troubles with my email as it wont refresh and stuck with the same emails for the past few days and doesnt update to show me new emails ..
I got myself a blackberry curve 9300 yesterday and have been trying all day to set up email, facebook etc., and it still won't work, it is driving me up the wall. I used to have a blackberry a few months ago but then went to a htc now back to blackberry but just can't set it up.
I just updated a blackberry 9300 to OS6 and found some issues regarding the email settings. Here are the issues I've found
1. Somtimes, it takes a very long time to load up email settings. For this , I clicked on "Settings", and then "Email Accounts"
2. Under Email accounts, it is obvious that there are 2 types of emails, one being enterprise, and one for the other types. I wanted to add an emaiil account, however when I click on the first option , nothing happens.
I tried to do some research about this, and came accross articles saying that I need to install "Email Settings", from the desktop manager. So I did, but apparently , it gives me an error that there are dependency issues, which means that I can't install "Email Settings" afterall.
I seem to be having trouble setting up email on my Curve 9300. When I press the trackball with internet mail highlighted it does nothing. This is a work phone for I am not the first user of the phone. This all started with the outage we had ealier in the month.
i just updated my operating system for my 9300 curve to version 6 and i have 2 email address both under hotmail which were previously setup. well in the setup wizard i found it strange that i couldn't select internet mail account. and when i go into messages and check inbox management. there is no email addresses listed under email accounts.
I bought a BB curve 9300 in Singapore and later i looked back and found that it is BB Tmobile. Everything is ok when I set up but email set up there is no personal email setup option and there is only enterprise email set up option which I don't have. Kindly advise how can I set up? I am ok if it needs to format or reset/delete all data on my mobile.
I want to set up my email accounts. As I understand from the online manuals you can setup an Internet Mail Account (which is what I want) or an Enterprise Account (i don't have)When I go to email setup I get the title to the screen of 'Enterprise Activation' and options to enter my email account and 'activation password'. These seem to sugget it's trying to setup a Enterprise Account, when in fact I want an internet account.I can't see any options to change this at all? Any clue as to setting up an internet based account. I have some pretty standard ones (yahoo, hotmail), as well as a less standard one for my business.
I have just bought my daughter a used Curve 9300 and am having trouble setting up email account. In the set up menu the only option for email takes me straight to the Enterprise option - I think I need personal email set up but I do not know where to find it.Also have a music download issue. I have synced it to our itunes and although I spent ages specify which tracks to add (using BB desktop software) and it seems to have added the whole libary! I then tried to remove it all with no success. Now seem to have double copies of everything! How do I remove all the music and start again and get it right.
i have just got my curve 9300 and tried to set up my email but it only gives me the option which says i want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise centre...how do i set up with a normal email account
i was using my ohone normally one second, bbming and then the next second the screen starts to flicker and goes white. i tried removing the battery and everything but it wont even show a screen when it turns on, as soon i out the attery back in a red LED light shows on the front. what can i do? i really need it ti start working again
Alright, so the trackpad isn't working, but at the same time it is. When I use it with my bare skin, it doesn't work, it takes many swips to do anything. But when I use it with say a piece of tape, or a cloth on the end of my fingers it works great and without a problem.
It's a used phone so swapping it is not an option, but is there some way to fix it?
I was using my blackberry curve 9300 today, it was working fine and then I began to find it hard to use the trackpad, it was like it wasn't picking my thumb up so I decided to do a battery pull and I plugged the battery back in and the red light won't turn on and neither will the screen. It seems to be non-functional all of a sudden.
I got a bit of water in my phone a few days ago and since some buttons on my keypad haven't been working. The following button's haven't been working: Y, U, H, J, B, N
my blackberry curve 9300 track pad just stopped working. i tried removing the battery and sim card, several times, to reboot the phone but it didnt work. later on i tried to re-insert my sim card, the track pad is moving up and down, left to right, but when i try using for clicking and opening sms or email for example, it couldnt possibly work.also, my email started coming in, but sms does not, it keeps on popping a message that my sim card messaging memory is full, when i no longer have sms kept because i deleted them to save space.
I just bought a new Curve 9300 and I can't get it to work. After I have unboxed it I put it on the charger and started it. All I get is a blank white screen (no loading symbol, nothing), I have waited for several minutes but nothing changes. Then I installed the BB Desktop Software and connected my Curve to the computer. The software even recognizes the Curve but still there is just the white screen.
my blackberry curve 9300 seems to require a reboot after sometime when I'm using a facebook/ twitter/ whatsapp to get it to work or else a pop will appear saying, "you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan.".I do not have a BIS plan but I am able to get into BB App World, Facebook app, twitter app, whatsapp app through WiFi but the pop up appears after more or less an hour and leads me having to reboot by blackberry to get it to work again. It is getting quite annoying.PS: I already tried registering HRT but I received nothing and my clock is set to automatic update. My current app version is 6.0.0.600 (2647) and all apps are updated to the latest version.
I got yesterday the two Duracell cell USB chargers ( Instant and PowerHouse) and it is very funny but I can not charge my blackberry. I used obviously the micro USB, try different cables, lenghts, etc...and there is no way to charge it. Even a friend of mine has a Torch and it did charge either.... It charges my kindle, Droid;( all of them micro USB) but no the curve 9300 Any experience with the Duracell or other usb micro chargers othe than BB?
I am using a blackberry curve 9300. My trackpad has stopped working, and I tried taking out the battery, and I need to take it out like 20 times and wait for the device to start working, and then maybe it works. Its stopped working again last night, and its not coming back.
I updated 4 apps on my blackberry curve last night and since then my trackpad will not scroll. I have removed the battery countless times and it still will not work.
My daughter was given a Curve 9300 and I got an unlock code off the internet. I have entered it and I think it has worked as when i go to sim card and type in MEPD it all says disabled. It was originally locked to o2 and I have tried using an o2 payg sim and using my vodafone contract sim but nothing works?
My track ball won't wrok on my 9300 does it need replacing or would a factory reset maybe cure it??? If so Is there anyway I can reset my phone without having to us the track ball?
