I used to have a row of icons on the bottom of the home screen but somehow they have all disappeared and now only come up when you go into all.
It used to be the top row of icons which i use all the time. How do i get them back to be showing all the time?
Icons at the top of home screen, battery life and coverage bar have disappeared. How do I get them back?as well as wi-fi network name. They are all gone. I am not sure how that happened and I can not find a way to get them back.
View 6 Replies View Relatedafter installing the Android 5.1.1 update on my Galaxy S6 edge almost all home screen icons have disappeared, even the bottom ones like phone, contacts and messages.The apps icons in the app drawer have also completely disappeared. The apps are still there and working, but I can only access them when I get a new notification.I have tried rebooting several times, and clearing the Touchwiz launcher data, but nothing changes.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have updated my OS to 7.1.0 Bundle 2039 and have noticed a few changes. Today my homescreen has a row of icons appeared at the bottom. In the previous version you could turn off the icons and only have a small up arrow shown that you could select to show the icons.
How do I switch off the icons on the home screen?
I was using my phone earlier, everything was fine. I looked at it later, all my folders and icons are gone from my home page. The only thing on the page are the four things on the bottom. Phone, Chrome, Contacts and apps. I can get to everything from the app drawer, should be a simple matter to repopulate my home page. I've restarted my phone several times. I've both just restarted, and shut down, then restarted. All of my history seems to still be in the apps, I.e my email accts are signed in, my s-health history is there. The only thing that's changed are the icons have vanished from my home page. Phone is bone stock

When I try to hide all they drop but leave the top 2 rows showing. they all pop up as expected when commanded to so it must be some software glitch?

For example, I moved one of the default home screen icons to the second screen, leaving a hole. Now I'm trying to move an icon from the second screen into the hole I created. I can drag to the right and create a new screen, but it will not break through to the left onto the home screen.
