Oct 9, 2012I have updated my OS to 7.1.0 Bundle 2039 and have noticed a few changes. Today my homescreen has a row of icons appeared at the bottom. In the previous version you could turn off the icons and only have a small up arrow shown that you could select to show the icons.
How do I switch off the icons on the home screen?

Jun 7, 2011Having updated my Bold 9900 to the latest Vodafone supported software a couple of weeks ago (just after I bought it) I have been unable to hide icons on the home screen. When I try to hide all they drop but leave the top 2 rows showing. they all pop up as expected when commanded to so it must be some software glitch?

Aug 23, 2010I just upgraded to a BB Bold 9650 and have synced with Outlook. I input all of my phone numbers in Outlook in the following format: (XXX) XXX-XXXX, but when I receive an incoming phone call on the home screen the numbers appear as XXXXXXXXXX (name is correct). When I look on the call log, they appear correctly and when I check my address book in the device, they appear correctly.I only sync one way - from Outlook to the Device. How do I get them to appear in the correct 10 digit phone number format with parentheses and hyphen?I had another Bold before this and had no issues with this at all. I am wondering if I need to use the Backup and Restore feature in the DTM to delete the address book completely and start again.

I'm referring to the branded icons, not the generic BB envelope/globe icons. I've sent service books and done battery pulls. Has anyone else ever had this problem upon initial set up? For example, I moved one of the default home screen icons to the second screen, leaving a hole. Now I'm trying to move an icon from the second screen into the hole I created. I can drag to the right and create a new screen, but it will not break through to the left onto the home screen.
