Samsung Galaxy S II :: All The Icons Have Disappeared?
Feb 9, 2012About every third or fourth time I switch on my phone all the icons have disappeared.
Switching off and back on works, although sometimes I have to do that a couple of times.

Galaxy S6 :: Icons Disappeared From Home Page?
Jul 22, 2015I was using my phone earlier, everything was fine. I looked at it later, all my folders and icons are gone from my home page. The only thing on the page are the four things on the bottom. Phone, Chrome, Contacts and apps. I can get to everything from the app drawer, should be a simple matter to repopulate my home page. I've restarted my phone several times. I've both just restarted, and shut down, then restarted. All of my history seems to still be in the apps, I.e my email accts are signed in, my s-health history is there. The only thing that's changed are the icons have vanished from my home page. Phone is bone stock

Jul 12, 2015after installing the Android 5.1.1 update on my Galaxy S6 edge almost all home screen icons have disappeared, even the bottom ones like phone, contacts and messages.The apps icons in the app drawer have also completely disappeared. The apps are still there and working, but I can only access them when I get a new notification.I have tried rebooting several times, and clearing the Touchwiz launcher data, but nothing changes.

Dec 8, 2011I have had several occasions on turning on my AT&T Galaxy S2 phone where all 7 of my screens were blank except for the 4 icons at the bottom. In fact, every screen had a message in the middle saying to drag items to add them to the screen, like it was *supposed* to be blank. Before today, turning the phone off and on again resolved this.In fact, when I clicked on the Applications icon at the bottom, got nothing but a spinning circle. After a minute or two, I pulled the battery, returned it, and powered up again. This time, everything is again normal. But I am concerned. This phone is just 5 weeks old.

Dec 30, 2011i am using fw 2.3.5 on my phone which had been updated through kies a while back. one thing that it annoying me a little is the applications and when i arrange them how i want they change when i reboot.
most pages stay correct but the main page 1 keeps changing from how i set it on rebooting.

Oct 30, 2011I have signal and I can make calls/send texts but the o2 icon on my main home page has disappeared, it's really irritating me lol!
My mate was mucking about with my phone earlier and changed the wallpaper to a pic from facebook so I'm thinking it maybe has something to do with that... I've been through the settings and can't find anything... been in the widgets to try and get it back cause I remember on my old samsung you could put it on the screen as a widget... but no luck!
I've turned it on and off but no luck, and I don't want to have to resort to restoring it to the factory settings cause I don't want to lose everything..

Apr 18, 2012after failing miserably with kies to try and get update for ICS (kept telling me there was update but taking hours and then timing out)I finally received the ota update (network vodafone spain) but because I was using packet data at the time I thought I would wait till I got home and use wifi,it give me the option of postponing for a hour. When I got home no update tried forcing the update on keypad and constantly checking for update. Nothing, no update available. all day now I have been trying but no joy.

Feb 20, 2012Problem: My 3 email account icons disappeared on the phone First happened last week I believe on 2/14 and again this morning. The 3 accounts are a BlackBerry, Hotmail and a company account (Outlook) with Microsoft Exchange I was able to get the BlackBerry and the Hotmail account to work again by entering the passwords but not the Outlook account, the error message is: [URL] password is invalid. Please try again Last night I was able to get my Outlook email account to work again however I lost it again this morning with same error message, p.s. also lost the other 2 accounts this morning but got them going again easily.
