Jul 2, 2012I was in the the winter sun today and my iphone 4s was sitting on the table for about 30mins in direct sunlight. when i went to leave i noticed a yellow patch on the middle left side of the screen. has anyone heard of this happening and if so is it fixable. my phone is still under warranty.

Dec 8, 2011I have had several occasions on turning on my AT&T Galaxy S2 phone where all 7 of my screens were blank except for the 4 icons at the bottom. In fact, every screen had a message in the middle saying to drag items to add them to the screen, like it was *supposed* to be blank. Before today, turning the phone off and on again resolved this.In fact, when I clicked on the Applications icon at the bottom, got nothing but a spinning circle. After a minute or two, I pulled the battery, returned it, and powered up again. This time, everything is again normal. But I am concerned. This phone is just 5 weeks old.

Dec 30, 2011i am using fw 2.3.5 on my phone which had been updated through kies a while back. one thing that it annoying me a little is the applications and when i arrange them how i want they change when i reboot.
most pages stay correct but the main page 1 keeps changing from how i set it on rebooting.

I noticed that sometimes (actually, somewhat frequently) the animation to open the app drawer is a little choppy and laggy. And then the actual app drawer (swiping left and right) also has slightly choppy animation as it moves from each page of apps.
This goes away if you press home, and then return back to the app drawer.

Aug 29, 2014When I try unlocking my screen, it slightly moves to the right but does not unlock. When I hold the power button and the "Slide to power off" appears, I'm able to slide right and power it off. After is starts up, the problem does not occur for a few days and then raises up again. Seems to me like a software issue.

Jan 16, 2010First off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?
and another thing is sometimes ill be writting a msg and my phone will make 3 beeping prompting type of noise any idea what this is?
Galaxy S5 :: Screen Icons Layering Over Other Screens
Feb 20, 2015This problem started today after the first of two updates from Verizon. AS you can see the screen icons are overlaying on top of each other, and makes it hard to read. Also as you scroll through the different main pages, the previous page icons are still in the background.
Also, at the top of the screen there appears to Ghost Image of the Signal strength and the Time and is not lined up.
Another problem that is quite irritating is the Contacts icon at the bottom of the screen does not work, and is why I have the other icon in the top 1/3 of the screen. NONE OF THE ICONS AT THE BOTTOM ARE RESPONDING.

Clicking central icons so good, but if the left click-activate the right and vice versa, so it is with the keyboard.My phone will rotee, install the recovery and install a stoc-rom, which one does not remember why I did several tests to see which I liked more.
I have done everything known: factory reset of the two known forms, install multiple stoc-rom, firmwares of several countries, including return to the previous version of Android 5.0.1, which I see, can not go back. All this with the Odin program. Also with Samsung Smart Switch "Emergency Recovery and initialization software."
Galaxy S6 :: Apex Pro Isn't Showing Icons Within A Folder On Home Screen Any More
Jul 12, 2015I have recently updated my samsung galaxy s6 to android 5.1.1, since updating, my launcher, apex pro isn't showing the icons within a folder on my home screen any more, its basically a folder that contained all my game apps.I assume the issue was apex in someway maybe not being fully compataible with 5.1.1 but im not sure? Th odd thing is, when i open tap the game folder, even though its all blank with no icons, they do seem to be there, but just invisible, if i tap where i know apps used to be in the folder, they do actually stop open, which is odd.
I have tried deleting the folder then doing a restore in apex but the same thing happens.Also since updating to 5.1.1 some screens have also been a little laggy and my home screen was just black at one point and just showing the notification section / time but everything else was black and wouldn't go off, i had to restart phone to get it back to normal.

The apps are still there and working, but I can only access them when I get a new notification.I have tried rebooting several times, and clearing the Touchwiz launcher data, but nothing changes.

Jan 21, 2013I have to start by saying I absolutely love my Razr (xt910) but I seem to have run into a bit of a problem. Two of the four navigation buttons on the bottom of the phone, the Menu and Home buttons, stopped lighting up all of a sudden! The actual buttons themselves work fine, but as stated, do not light up, leaving only the right two lit, giving the razr a strange appearance to say the least. I have done a factory reset (twice) but both times it failed to make a difference, leading me to believe that whatever powers the lights for those buttons no longer works. Is this a common problem? Does anyone know how or if this is possible to fix? My Razr is still under warranty.

If anyone knows how to bypass the screen lock or just refresh it. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. I'm not in a great rush since my mum refuses to pay for the fix. and it'll take me a few weeks to save up.i can't unlock the phone because i can't see the screen and i think the touch pad is bust as well.

Jan 26, 2012When it is sat in standby and i recieve a text, the screen lights up as usual for a few seconds then dims to turn off again but doesnt turn off, causing my screen to stay on and the phone to run flat in under 4 hours. If I try to use the lock button when this is happening the phone will freeze.
I have also updated to the latest version to try and stop this but it didnt help.

I have searched and there seems to be some general touch issues but I can't tell if this is something that can be fixed by software or not? For example, running MultiTouch Tester, I can touch the screen really fast 10 different places (this is important I think), and the phone will only detect 7/10 presses on avg. I don't recall having so many touch problems before ICS?

Aug 6, 2011I have a new Galaxy S2 that I am totally delighted with (apart from the rather poor wifi signal reception, but that's not really a problem for me).I've noticed a strange thing though (and I don't know if this matters at all because everything still seems to work). When I connect my Galaxy up to my PC, it used to look something like this:(This is not my image, but it's the best I could find.) Basically, it used to say connected and show a picture of a USB connector.Now, for some strange reason, my S2 does not do that. When I connect up with USB, I still see the normal home screen and can navigate around as normal, at the same time as using Kies or accessing the S2 from my PC.Does anyone know why this is? Do other people's S2's behave like this, or do you all still see the USB image on screen?
