View 1 RepliesWhen watching the app.......watch espn, there are lines on the screen
View 1 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately, one of the first things i noticed upon unpacking it is that the screen has some strange gold colored lines in the upper part of the screen. The lines are most visible when bright light is shone onto the screen e.g. a flashlight, lamp or out in the sun. They are most visible on dark colors or when the screen is turned off.It looks as though the lines could be some sort of seem lines between two display pieces that are joined or bonded together. Does Samsung patch the screens together from multiple pieces?I am not really happy about these particular lines that are present in the screen.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a s2. About a month ago it started showing horizontal grey lines across the bottom of the screen. If I turn it off/on then they sometimes disappear completely and sometimes worse than before I turned it off. Following other posts on the net, tried turning my brightness up and if I turn it up all the way the lines never appear. The only problem is that I can't use the phone at this level of brightness. would be grateful if someone could post a fix. I kinda remember reading about screen tests you can do on the phone itself but can't find it again. Maybe if I could re-calibrate the screen that would fix it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 (sm-g900f). Sometimes the screen just freeze, and grey lines appears (as in this picture goo.gl/qIdGg7 ).
The main button and the power still working, as I can see the white light turning on and off as usual after pressing them.
And after click the power button once (which turn off the display), the screen remains black.
The phone is actually still working, as I can ear it ringing or receiving messages and email.
But I cant do anything, just take off the battery and restart it. I already reset it and the problem keeps happen again.
I have had my Galaxy SII for around six weeks now and very happy with it but unfortunatly my camera seems to have developed a fault just a few days back. It has three thin black vertical lines down the left of the screen if i view as a portrait or along the bottom if viewed as landscape. The lines are always on the screen when the camera display is active and in any pic or video I would take.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo recently I have purchased my samsung s6 but I dropped it twice. Unfortunately, the second time it was dropped it started blinking with horizontal lines. It still works but the blinking is kind of annoying. I already restarted it and turned it off but nothing works.
View 1 Replies View Relatedhow I (in the simplest possible way) can use my pc as a secondary screen to my galaxy sII? I want my screen on the phone to be mirrored on the computor, so I can show (i.e.with a projector) my actions on the Samsung to an audience.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo as things are perfect and smiley in the world, the way to make your day complete is to drop your brand new samsung galaxy s2 from a pathetically small height and watch as the whole screen shatters to bits. Enough to put anyone in a great mood.Fixing the screen isn't the problem though. 02 have agreed to fix it for me, for a small fee, but they have confirmed that the whole phone will be flashed before hand. This is not good. I have a lot of memories on the phone that i would like back.I have connected the phone to samsung keis, however, since the screen locked, the dam thing won't let me in to my own data. Understandably this is to ensure absolutle security to your sh** but I can't help wondering why samsung didn't install an option that allows you to unlock the phone from your computer. really need some help figuring out how I can get my sh** back. If anyone knows how to bypass the screen lock or just refresh it. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. I'm not in a great rush since my mum refuses to pay for the fix. and it'll take me a few weeks to save up.i can't unlock the phone because i can't see the screen and i think the touch pad is bust as well.

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy Blackberry screen randomly has two thin lines on its screen. It's not actually the outer screen, just the inside with the graphics. I recently noticed those lines and I just find it annoying to see.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Galaxy S II has the annoying habit of having its screen go into idle or sleep mode and then blacken when I'm on a call. I want to have the "Phone" screen showing up at all times when I'm on a call, so I can access the speakerphone, etc. Is there a way to "lock" the screen in "Phone" mode when I'm on a call?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHaving just spent hours setting up my new phone, I noticed that there are 2 lines going across the screen one near the top and one near the bottom of equal distance. I initially thought it was dust and wiped it off, however within a minute or so the lines returned. Cant believe it! I love the phone but I cant have it with these lines across the screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have these lines on my touch screen, the touch screen works fine, but the lines are annoying and it doesnt seem like physical damage because i never dropped it or cause impact to it in any way.
At first there was 1 line, the it started increasing slowly, and now there are 8 lines on the screen.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9700, just over two years old. Thin lines are beginning to appear across the screen, mainly horizonta. ones. Can I do something to fix them? Or is this the beginning of the end?
View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday my daughter came home from school with her phone not working. Screen has one thicker vertical line down the middle and then lighter lines down the screen right across. It won't make or receive calls. She swears it wasn't dropped.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI unlocked my phone today to find that the screen had some very thin/fine rainbow colored vertical distortion lines on the screen. They seemed to have been pulsating (as if someone was holding another electromagnetic object close to it or something) and it looked like static distortion. I checked multiple screens and apps and they all resulted in the same discolored distortion lines.
I had to completely power down my phone and turn it back on. After that, it was OK. First time I had this type of experience so far...
I dropped my iPhone just a few hours ago, but didnt check its condition. A few hours later, when i turned my phone on, the screen was grey with blue lines. I could still hear the lock sounds and could feel the vibrations when someone called.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1
Ok so a while ago my blackberry ended up accidentally underneath the big box part of a laptop charger thing don't know what that part is called but yea, it was under that for less then a minute. The screen went funny and had 2 lines randomly down 1 side. I did a battery pull etc but everytime I did it progressivly got worse. In the space of around a week to 2 weeks it went from 2 lines to multiple lines to eventually a pure White screen. Is this fixable? Do I just need to replace the screen?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI noticed there's wavy lines across the camera viewfinder upon starting the camera app. but they only appear for one or two seconds tops (when the camera does its first autofocus) and then disappears. Am I just being paranoid?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen it is sat in standby and i recieve a text, the screen lights up as usual for a few seconds then dims to turn off again but doesnt turn off, causing my screen to stay on and the phone to run flat in under 4 hours. If I try to use the lock button when this is happening the phone will freeze.
I have also updated to the latest version to try and stop this but it didnt help.
This just recently started happening. On and off over and over. I turn it off, it turns back on.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHi,where my SGS2 isn't always registering my touch. It might take 2-3 presses to start up an application. I have searched and there seems to be some general touch issues but I can't tell if this is something that can be fixed by software or not? For example, running MultiTouch Tester, I can touch the screen really fast 10 different places (this is important I think), and the phone will only detect 7/10 presses on avg. I don't recall having so many touch problems before ICS?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a new Galaxy S2 that I am totally delighted with (apart from the rather poor wifi signal reception, but that's not really a problem for me).I've noticed a strange thing though (and I don't know if this matters at all because everything still seems to work). When I connect my Galaxy up to my PC, it used to look something like this:(This is not my image, but it's the best I could find.) Basically, it used to say connected and show a picture of a USB connector. Now, for some strange reason, my S2 does not do that. When I connect up with USB, I still see the normal home screen and can navigate around as normal, at the same time as using Kies or accessing the S2 from my PC.Does anyone know why this is? Do other people's S2's behave like this, or do you all still see the USB image on screen?
View 7 Replies View Relateda couple of days ago,i began to realize that there were moving vertical lines across the screen.the lines are most visible when my light sensor(intensity) settings is set at 75%. it only came to my attention when i hard resetted my phone 2 days ago and the intensity settings was reverted to its default 75%(i've kept it customized at 25% until 2 days ago).the moving vertical lines are less visible in darker backgrounds and at a lower light intensity.i was just wondering-is this normal?
